I stand by my brothers shoulder
My numbers are six and seven
Yet I support one and three
My job requires great speed and reflex
I have only one target in site
Yet many men I aim to take down
Not mud, sweat, or blood stand in my way
And not till I have my target do my enemies attack me

Who or what am I?

Hint:

Its a rugby thing . . .

Postion player called a flanker wears numbers 6 & 7. But sticks his head between the butts of player 1 & 3 during a scrum. The ball is the target, then its kill the man with the ball

How can you claim cultural bias? Almost every internationally involved county in the world has a rugby team. Even the United States of America. (although they get creamed ever year in the Cup matches)

lol dont know a thing about rugby but hey the last half of the riddle complies more or less to attacking the flanks of the enemy's position
