Not sure how many of you would remember me as I dont recall having alot of interaction with Last Dynasty folk other than Nakamuro Zataki when I played, but I'm the original operator behind the toons Kagato Nohiri, Isengarde, and for any old PoA members.. Laireland Loire. Anyways, a friend of mine and I were looking to start anew in AC after a 2 year hiatus from the game. I've talked to Kaylor/Troec on the VN boards already, but we both thought this would be the best place to get our roots. Currently we are waiting for our AC: DM copies to arrive, and I'm waiting for my shiny new debit card to show up at my door before we start. But we're looking forward to our return. Im mainly posting here to get some more information about the allegiance, mainly how often you quest and how good is your PK situation. Both of us had plans to do some PvP once were 'settled in'. Which brings me to the second part of my post... I have my template already planned, but my friend is adamant about a sword character. I know from VN posts and reading the update information that sword is in fact a strong PK melee weapon now, but I have not the least bit of knowledge in how to 'work around' those 10 credits that it costs to spec that over UA. So any suggestions for his template would be greatly appreciated. I plan on taking the path of a Grief/3-School/UA until i can get War magic (around level 100-120 OR 70-90 if i decide to drop UA to trained to get war earlier)

Anyways, im looking forward to meeting you, and reminiscing with friends of old.

My last question, has anyone seen my old 'toons in-game? I'm dyin to know how their new owner used them.

Good to have y'all back.. I love hanging around the old timers hearing about the good old days.

And no.. I have no idea what happened to those names.. but don't worry, because I forget my own name on a daily basis..

But anyway, glad you have you back and looking forward to seeing you in game soon!

Man I hope you are coming back. I too took a long break from the game and have just recently returned. It would be great seeing you around again! Seems lots of old players are returning. Ironic really, but great nonetheless!

Hope to see you around soon! I was wondering if you were still playing. Sword rocks now BTW. This game has changed so much man. You're in for a surprise!

First of all welcome! Troec is my wonderful vassal and a great friend, also a great person to get information from. All of my husband and I's toons are devoted LD toons and are always willing to help anyone that we can, just give us a yell, his main is archangel of light, and I am Allana the bringer and allana the dark. To answer your question as best as I can about our PK situation, don't really know any of them very well except my hero Khaz-modaan, I do know this, I would go pk in a second to help my friend if I could and I know there are many others that feel the same way. Having said that, I also love to die heeeeeeeeehehe. Hope you decide to come join our big crazy family, upload meginjardar and you will always be in the know about questing, not only do we plan ahead of time, but we tend to do a lot of hey guys what we doing today, kind of questing. Heh Zafa, u would have known a few days ago if you would just check your PM's on the VN boards!

Its good to see that i actually recognize some of the names in the members list for this allegiance, looks like quite a few of my old allies are here. But Zafa, its great to see that your still playin! I still remember going on the Sword of Lost Light quest with Kalovon just so you could get a fancy toy before u turned Kal into a mule =p

I noticed in the forum members that you have a member named Silver Musk, this pleases me greatly as he used to be a vassal of mine.

Btw, here are our planned templates, tweaking adsisable, but they are pretty stable at the moment

I could very easily turn myself into a Grief OG at later levels with skill sellback and specialization quests, but i want to keep melee roots even after i get war magic. I was always a melee at heart.

Welcome to the family!

On your note of template for PK, I wouldn't base your temp for that when you're just restarting off a new character. In other words, it would be more beneficial for you to save magic d specialized for later on (quite a bit later), when you will actually use it, and keep it trained when you make your character - that gives you more to play around with.

I don't know if you were planning on that, just thought I'd share my thoughts

Silly me, i forgot to mention that I would be specializing life magic at level 45.

Reasoning behind the early specialization of Magic D - I toyed with a bunch of different ways of handling the credits, but I keep ending up unable to get war magic before or at level 100
