A Quick Note
I generally stay out of chain business, because the managers do a fantastic job and don't need any help. However, in the past few weeks, I have heard chatter about different issues related to the FC and OH. I'm not going to single anyone or any matter out.
This is just to reiterate what each of you already know and to help ease the job related stress of the current chain management.
The chains should run themselves. It is up to each one of you, individually, to read the boards, upload your stats, check your stats, make quota.
If you fail to do any of the above, you have one person to blame.
Do not make it a habit of relying on someone else for your information. The managers are really there to maintain the integrity of the chain, not "be" the chain.
It should be no surprise to you if you are failing. You should know exactly where you stand at any given time.
Now, I understand when there is a stats page problem. Some of this stems from updates. Some of it stems from Ranger willingness to change the stats page when a few complaints are posted. The stats page is more of management tool than a member's tool. Ranger has updated the readability of the page and maintained the integrity of the information. Any suggestions to the stats page should be sent through the managers, not directly to Ranger.
When people are failing quota, the managers don't need reminding of it. They know. They check the stats page more often than anyone else. They also have alot of responsibilities. They prioritize their tasks and act accordingly. They have to maintain the entire chain. You just have to worry about you.
The chain should run itself. In the last few months, it seems that people are not reading and/or following the chain policy, and the managers are taking responsibility for it all. They should not. Each member of the chain should responsible for him or herself. If you do this, I guarantee it will make everyone's life easier.

Well said panz.
When people join the chain they agree to do a few simple things, and more people are just not bothering with these things..
its an alarming trend
