Help settling a bet

Post by Druhsk » Wed Apr 02, 2003 5:08 pm

Hey guys, I need a little help settling a bet here. My co-workers and I are arguing about which city is the most densely populated city in the world. (don't ask why) If you wanna help me out, put any reasoning you may have.

Thanks!

(yes, I do have $20 riding on this!! :))

Judgeing by how many can fit in a car, I would assuem the city would be the same way, although I have never been there.

But when I leave work in the afternoon, i dont see how 4 grown adults and fit inside a single cab nissan truck

I would have to sayyyyyyy...... Hebian-To?

Actually, my vote would be...Manila, Philippines.

City Density
Population: 1,654,761
Area in Sq. Miles: 14.7
Area in Sq. KM: 38
Population per Sq. Mile: 112,872

I've been there.... it's that crowded. The one bit of information that most people don't know...

# of working toilets per Sq. Mile: 4 (JUST KIDDING)

I LOVE the Philippines.

I read a book saying that women are from venus, all right? So here's what you get her: Thick layers of sulfuric acid, viscous surface rock, and coronae which seem to be collapsed domes over large magma chambers. Here's $5.

I'm thinking about not thinking which when you think about it really makes the whole thing kind of thoughtless.

I guess it all depends on if you take it as the island, or the city. Taking the city into account, without calculating in the 'burbs, changes everything.
