Hyssop Chain Question

Say your Patron wishes to be promoted and he has the numbers to do so and say his current vassel also has the numbers to be promoted, but not beyond his current patron. I guess what I want to know is can current patron & vassel be promoted in one move if they both have the required numbers to warrant promotions? I hope this confuses you as much as it did me trying to ask this.....lol.

Not in one move.

Based on yourself as an example, this is what would happen.

This month, Da-won would be promoted above Lagmatic. Lagmatic would become your patron.

Your percentage, this month, is compared against Da-won's, not Lagmatic's, therefore, you would not be qualified for promotion.

Next promotion period though, assuming numbers don't change, you would then be promoted above Lagmatic as well... possibly even back under Da-won (or she may move on up too).

But first da-won has to be 3 levels above me, for a week. Unless the policy thread is out of date.

And da-won is now only 2 ahead, I just updated.

Damn, he's close.

I'll hunt all day tomorrow and sock away another level or two. Got to get back ahead of my vassals. Being passed would be embarassing!

Lagmatic, the 3 levels ahead thing is a part of the promotion policy for the Food Chain only. It was put into place because of the level restrictions associated with sub-126 players. In the Order of Hyssop, everyone is 126+, so we based the promotion policy on percentage performance only.

Order of Hyssop Rules
Please note that your chain managers for the Food Chain are also your managers for the Order of Hyssop. The same general rules for the Food Chain also apply to the Order of Hyssop.

The main difference is with new applicants, quota, and advancement. Quota for the OH 12million per week. New applicants will be inserted at the bottom of the chain in an order determined by the managers. Members may advance by maintaining 115% passup and passing their chain patron by three lvls. Please refer to the Food Chain for all other rules and regulation regarding The Order of Hyssop.

Lagmatic, the OH promotion policy has been the topic of public debate for the last month. There have been several sticky-and announcement level posts indicating that it was about to change.
