Post by Trekman » Fri Aug 26, 2005 11:49 pm

AC2 will be closed down at the end of the year....

The AC1 Team will be moving back to Massachusetts after they had moved to CA only a few months ago ....

And :

srand has left Turbine...she was a cornerstone in the AC1 Team..

Srand was a class unto herself.

The woman gave me the moon, cannot ever thank her enough! I hope she lands safely and happily in another game soon!

Srand also gave Optim Shi and the folks over at CoD a leg up in scooping the weeping weapon quest.

I know what Srand did for you, but it paled in comparison to what she did to the community with that leak.

I'm sad to see her go being as she cracked the Wi flag. She also had tremendous passion for the game. I can forgive, but I don't forget, however, neither do I hold a grudge.

Pity she's gone. She was, outside the leak, the single most connected developer to the community.

hence my expression "class unto itself" :) I remember the leak, but for me, it was something far different as you know. Forget nope, neither one lol

I'm thinking AC1 should be announcing its closure soon enough ... Turbine really messed up the game.

I'm guessing from the mass exodus from the game that more people thought it was bad then good.

Then again, there were people that thought AC2 was a great game too ... and its getting flushed.
