Summer!!!!!!

Post by Cymry » Fri May 27, 2005 11:15 pm

The good news is, I'm out of school for the summer, which means no 4-and-5 year olds until August. The bad news is, I have either a cold or an allergy attack (seems more like a cold), which aggravates the heck out of me because I didn't have a cold all year. I did have strep, though, but nothing makes you feel worse than a summer cold, and here I get one on the VERY LAST DAY OF SCHOOL. :banghead:

On a lighter note, once I recover I will have more time to play AC and watch my 3 cats try to break into the fish tank I brought the class fish home in. My goldfish is HUGE!! Until then, it's coffee, soup, juice, my microwaveable corn bag, and lots of TheraFlu for me. Oh, well, at least I can recover on my own time without worrying about getting a substitute, using up sick days, and trying to get better quick so I can get back to work. :) There's always a silver lining . . .

I took a couple of NyQuil caplets (I can't stand the liquid stuff, yuck) a little while ago, so I should be snoozin' soon. As for garlic, I've got some tortilla chips and salsa I can eat to burn out my sinuses. With all the sneezing I'm doing, I think it's actually an allergy. They've just never bothered me like this before, but all the hedge behind our house is blooming like there's no tomorrow.

Yay Cymry!! The cold will be over soon and then it's summer living!

I still have a very long 4 1/2 weeks to go before summer freedom!! I can't wait!!

Though on the plus side my job is fun. Like tonight as part of a school fun fair the out of school care program did a Pie the Leader booth. Very popular as we all got covered in many whip cream pies! I'm still smelling it even after a shower :? All fun though :)

Been dragging around today, achy, no energy, kind of ooky when I get up. No fever, though, and no stuffiness now, so I don't know what is going on. It's been a cycle of feel lousy, sleep, wake up, eat crackers, feel better, get up, feel lousy, sleep, wake up . . . well, you get the idea. Does anyone else have allergies affect them this way?
