These moves need to be made in this order.

Griffmar (93) swears to Allana the Bringer (93)
Allana the Bringer sets Griffmar as Key Vassal
Deric (86) swears to Griffmar (93)
Griffmar sets Deric as Key Vassal

If you need to realese you chain vassle to complete this move, make sure all parties are online at the same time, to avoid a chain break.
Post when each step is complete. Post if you have any question or porblems with this order.

Allana / Deric, I should be on after about 9pm PST tonight (working a bit late). I'll try to arrange for my current patron to be on as well to release me.

Out of curiosity, if my patron can't make it on tonight, what would be the XP penalty if I just broke allegiance myself? There is some sort of XP cost, correct? If it's significant, I'll wait of course, but didn't want to hold things up as he's been pretty busy IRL lately.

The exp penalty is different depending on how many time you have borken, for the first break it is around 1000 exp, and starts to go up from there.

Interesting. I have NEVER broken, I've had the same patron since I started playing AC last fall, a good friend IRL. It's one of the main reasons I haven't ever tried a chain, until now. But I've really been impressed with what I've seen of the LD chains and their management, so it's time to take the plunge!

Anyway, good to know it won't be too painful if it comes to that.

Okay, should be done. Deric is sworn to me, and I've set key vassal to Deric. Allana said she was setting key vassal to me, so we're set.
