I will be leaving......

Post by Trekman » Tue Apr 15, 2003 1:01 am

....the safety and cable connection of my home for ~3 weeks starting April 24th.

So until my return on May 10th I will not be able to login, upload ACstats or hunt towards quota (I might be able to read the boards in Internet Cafes though).

Due to the pre-travel stress in business and in private I will not be able to dig much XP to work on quota in advance.

It still might be possible for me to meet quota if I can organize a RL buddy to swear his toon under Trekman and to pass ~7 mil. per week to him - but as of now I cannot count on that.

If the managers feel the need to swear around me while I am gone its ok with me as long as I will be quickly re-inserted after my return.

Hehe, you scared me a little bit with your post's title. If you get a chance during the last day or two before you leave, try to post some XP then. Any XP you put into the chain at that point will count toward your quota requirement during nearly the whole time you are gone. If you drop some below quota, and with us knowing you are out of town, it's not such a big deal. We may post a reminder that you need to make up quota, but it is doubtful we will post a removal order for Trek. You've been in for a long time and have never been a quota problem. If you get a little behind, you'll make it up quickly when you return. Have on your travels; hopefully, the travel is for pleasure, and not for business.

What oof said + take care and enjoy =)

let me know when your back and we can hit VoD for a couple hours.

We were making 45 mil / hour at one point yesterday so it won't take long to make up any quota issues that come up :D

The Casual Chain also acknowledges your post...if you are chained around, we will reinstate you as quickly as possible when you return.

I go to Mexico - and the first part will be stressful.....

I have been singing in a choir years ago (which is nothing special here in Vienna :) ).
Now they begged me to join their concert tour to Mexico City because they have not enough (loud ) members who attend.
So we will do concerts for instance in the big Cathedral and do sightseeing in and around Mexico City.

The second half of the trip is vacation/sightseeing in the country (Chihuahua, Yukatan, Copper Valley, Mazatlan, ...) with occasional concerts.

And we support social projects like the children on Chimalhuacan with toys, clothes (and - of course - a concert).

speaking of famous.....there will be a press-conference hosted by the Austrian Embassy - so I guess we will even appear in Mexican TV
And as far as I know at least one concert will be recorded for radio...

We are looking forward to jet-lag, Montezuma's Revenge (=diarrhea ), ....

But it will be fun anyway - thanks to your good wishes :)

Drink only bottled water and drink sodas cold with no ice. Be very careful of salads and fruits that might have been washed with the local water. Most of the bigger hotels have their own water purification systems so it's usually ok.

Oops...you might have known all this :P . This is the travel consultant side of me slipping out

Have fun!

I do not have much hair left - and the remaining is very short.

I do prefer an aisle seat anyway. Well - it depends who (read : what kind of woman) is sitting next to me and who has to crawl over whom to reach the aisle...
Ah - how I am looking forward to cross the Atlantic Ocean in Economy Class..... :x
