Hi All, this is Mik O!

Just thought I'd pop into the library at the VA Hospital and let ya'll know that I'm going thru AC withdrawls, big time... Don't know how much longer I'll be here....? Doc's can't seem to make up their minds, presupposing they have any, whether to amputate, or fix the 'Ol leg up one more time. 'Til then, "As I sit and wonder...... Laters, Me

Wow, hadn't realized that my profile was so far outta date!! .... or that I'd posted so seldom. Was supposed to have Angio-gram this morning, but there was an emergency, so it's postponed until tomorrow ;{ Hiyas, Arc/Hucke/Joh/Sweetii/Rosie/Puppy/Unk/FuMan, and all you LIL peeps out there! j/k

If they do decide to do some work on you Mik, make sure they wheel the bed into the room in the right direction. We wouldn't want them working on an arm instead of your leg. You know those VA doctors!!!

Kinda scary when you consider that it's a training hospital

Had the Angiogram yesterday, and today they Dopplered my good leg and my arms, looking for a vein long enuff to do another graft....and, of course, just to cover their bases, they're also talking about amputating my big toe and also whacking my leg off, from the knee down

One Tech told me that 'They' were talking about sending me home for a week or so, so's 'They' could discuss 'Their' options.......even though the hole in my foot is 3 x's the size it was when I checked in........can see about 3 inches of the tendon of my big toe now

We'll see who gets thrown out first....the baby or the bathwater!!
