When i start up AC on my new laptop computer everything goes fine eccept when i enter the actual game.... then there is only black screen in the area where the portal space thing is and.... i can watch all info about my character, but i cant actually see him on the menu..

ANY IDEA WHAT THIS IS CAUSE BY????

i really need help with this cause my laptop is all the computer i have since i moved away from home....

and then it means no AC until its fixed

I think it has something to do with Z-buffer try disabling it, if it isn't already. think it's ACD3DSetup.exe

i got working it was that security update for xp that caused the trouble

I offered some suggestions on this in the public forum. Hmm.. don't think I mentioned the Z-buffering. Definitely try disabling that.
