Can the pincers be substituted with the rampagers tusks?

As long as you are passing on the Status Report page, don't worry about the pincer, however it is an easy 3 mil exp. The pincer is more a requirement to show that you are active, and an easy way for those characters that do not see much playing time to earn a little xp.
