Meginjarder. Meginjarder. Meginjarder. Load it and simply send a message about wanting to go to VoD, is anyone at VoD, etc. There are nearly always people out there. I'll be glad to go to VoD if I'm not busy with vassals or something. :)

Stumpy, a lvl 78 can survive in a fellow, because the critters tend to want to beat up on the mage who imperiled/vulned them. Being effective at killing them may be something else. Depending on your skill, you are probably either okay, or at least close to being okay on hunting out there. I think the magic skill needs to be in the 400+ range to sort of cast effectively on them; I'm guessing melee skill needs to be about the same?

Mine's higher, so I don't really know.

Gage, I think overall CS does better damage over time. It depends a lot on what kind of monster you are attacking and on your bow skill. CB is cool for those gigantic hits it creates when you happen to land a crit and the monster has enough health left for you to see the results of the hit. AR, generally speaking, does good damage on every single hit. However, with a high enough skill, you will be critical striking a LOT with a CS bow and usually that will outkill an AR bow over time.

The biggest factor for AR is the monster's natural armor and that varies all over the place, so shoot a few monsters with one type of bow, then shoot a few of the same kind of monsters with the next type of bow and compare the results. I'm too lazy to do this, but if you decide to, a comparative listing of monsters vs. bow type would make a great post (hint).
