Today is the deadline for updating yourselves to the new chain page. There are many people who have NOT yet updated to the lastdynasty.net chain page. Starting in the late PM Eastern time, I will start posting removal orders. I'm sure I won't get them all done tonight, but I will start on them. There is nothing personal in this at all. Here is the simple rule. ACStats is what we use to track performance. If you can't get updated to the new chain page, you can't be in the chain. It's that simple.

As of this posting, here is the current list of the people who show up in the chain page listing.

The characters listed above are okay. Also, Fiction, and El-Tazar are ok (for now). They don't show up on the chain page yet, but have sent me info that they are working on it.

For everyone else, see the urls in my signature, run the chain reg file, log in, check to make sure your key vassal is set correctly, log off, and then send Oof a PM saying you have completed. I'll add you to the chain listing and to the list above and you'll be ok. If, by late tonight EST, your name isn't in the chain listing, I will post removal orders.

I am sure people will be removed from the chain who didn't want removed. We will re-insert you as soon as possible AFTER YOU UPLOAD TO THE NEW CHAIN PAGE (not really yelling, just wanted that part to stand out). Things may be bumpy for a couple of days, but we will get the chain functioning smoothly again, with better XP for all, and quicker responses for inserts/moves/removals. The new server is faster and you shouldn't have problems uploading to it after the chain reg file has been run successfully on your computer.

[I started to list the names of people who are on the old chain page, but not showing on the new one yet, but decided not to do that. You are all big kids and are capable of scanning the list of names given above. If you don't see your name in that list, make sure that you update to the new chain page ASAP.]

Thank you for your patience while we work this out. Please talk to your chain neighbors as soon as you see them on and let them know to read this post. Our goal isn't to remove anyone; it is to have everyone who wants in the chain updating to the new page. If you don't want in the chain, do nothing. You will automatically have removal orders posted.

OK, I checked the link and I show up on the Chain now I'll log in before I go to work so hopefully between the two I'll have enough info to calculate.

As an added incentive for you all to comply with Oof's request- As soon as this is over, there is going to be a decently sized wave of new insertions. I'm sure you are all looking forward to having some new faces around on this board.

Could someone please post the exact Upload URL so I can check my acstats as I don't seem to be uploading.

Try this link. It's to Panzerfaust's announcement on the Food Chain page. The first link in that post is the chain reg file. While you're not running AC or Decal (not sure if it makes a difference, but I usually turn them off) click that link to install the new chain reg file. Then, log on as El-Tazar and set your key vassal again. Even if it looks like it's still set, I would set the key vassal again. Log off, and you should be set. You should show up in a listing the managers can see. As soon as one of us sees your name on the list, we'll add you to the chain page listing.
