MAJOR CHAIN POLICY CHANGE (YOUR VOTE REQUIRED)

There has been much discussion on the manager's board the last couple of weeks about an increase in quota for lvl 126 characters.

Looking at the chain page, we have noticed that 6million per week passup is VERY easy to achieve and there are MANY players in the chain who pass up much more than that. Combine this with the power of a lvl 126 character, the new hunting grounds, and the fact that this IS an experience chain, we feel that now is the time to put this issue to a popular vote.

The proposal is simple:
The new quota for 126+ characters will be increased to 12million pass up per week. Possibly more after we see what kind of weekly xp everyone can make.

How it would work:
If the voting results in support of the new quota, we will immediately organize a new chain. Basically, any 126+ who feels they can meet the quota will "graduate" into "The Order of Hyssop and Trout" (my name for the chain) Any 126 who does not want the higher quota will simply be put below the lowest 126 who is in the "Order". The FC will be unchanged basically, its just the upper half will have an increased quota.

The 126+ req will allow us to increase the quota and keep the chain intact with minimum disruption. Also, this fits in well with the lore of LD. Its cool to have a group of our most prolific hunters who have graduated into the chain. The 126 req is sort of a right of passage. The chain will not actively recruit. It will be open to LD members only. Anyone outside LD will have to join the FC first and then be invited into the Order. I think this is something cool for a sub 126 to shoot for too. Sort of a motivational thing.

Important:
Please note, NO 126+ WILL BE REQUIRED TO JOIN. The new quota will be optional. What we need is feedback. If the majority of the chain thinks this is a good idea, we will move forward with the plan. If not, we will drop the concept.

I would like to say I hope any slackers will be moved to the bottom of the 126 list....I myself would expect to be moved if I'm not meeting quota...plus somehow we need to make sure when postings are up for removals and insertions that they are acknowledged as read....like take a sec and post NOTED and ADD to my friends list....I understand time zones can be a problem but not impossible to work around....afterall...we do have WEEKENDS!!!....

Wouldn't it be awesome to see success beside everyone's name...

Kfin, it is broken. I have been at least 3 levels above all my patrons, this is rediculous.
The last couple weeks iv'e only gotten about 20M a day. Used to get 100M a day.
