Name and Level display your name and level.

Status can be either passed (you are ok), failed (you are below quota) or upload (your data is too old).

Rate is xp passed up to your patron divided by xp received from your vassal, when it is above 100% and you add to the chain.

Upload Date is when your latest upload was made.

Period is how many days your quota is based upon.

Total earned is how much your total xp increased during the period.

Added xp is how much you have added yourself by hunting (or from non-chain vassals). If this is negative then your leadership or loyalty is not at the required 93.75% cap.

Quota is the number your Added xp should be above, this is calculated based upon the period (note that the time resolution is finer than days, so individual values might vary slightly).

From Chain is how much you received from the chain (before leadership bonus, so you should receive 125% of this number).

I think that covers it.

Hey, how frequently is the page updated?

I pulled my stats before I logged in, and then I logged out to update, and I came up with the same exact entries:

Lagmatic 196 Passed 106.6% 2003-11-27 0 days 239,108,294 6,355,313 1,338,246 49,130,575
Lagmatic 196 Passed 106.6% 2003-11-27 0 days 239,108,294 6,355,313 1,338,246 49,130,575

It looks like it didn't catch my update today, 2003-11-28, or is that like a time delay thing?

EDIT:
Second time I logged it caught on. I guess just decal bugginess. NM.

There are no delays. The stats page is generated when you click the link (on old page we cached it, but here we dont have shell access to set up a cron daemon).

Hey Zat, thank you for working so hard on acstats, but I was just wondering if it would be possible to make it refresh itself while playing much like the old treestats did. That was a great feature, for me especially because it meant I didn't have to log out for it to upload.
Normally it wouldn't be a big deal, but my apt at college has a really bad internet connection, and it logs me out after 45-1 hour of playing.
Also, it would keep the data current while we were hunting.

If you can't no big deal and thanks again for all the hard work you've already put in.

As far as I know ACStats just sends information as you log out, so it is not really any point in having it auto refresh.

Hm, it doesn't sound like you understand what I'm trying to say...

I'm asking if you could program that into acstats.

Also, could you also show the steps to maxing out a skill on acstats. I use that as a guide when putting xp into my skills, so if you'd be able to set up the page closer to what the old acstats looked like, that would rock.

Thanks.

ACStats is a plugin made by someone else. the database system we use takes that acstats info from the plugin and uses it for our purposes.

You should probably bring this up to the developers of the plugin, as it is a good idea :)

Who was the stats dev? Was it ranger? After the strories I heard, I doubt he'd be willing to help us.

Does it take a few uploads to begin showing up?

Cause like, ...I'm not showing up. :|

hehe

So then Zat could fix this. After what Phade said I thought I'd have to go to Ranger.[/quote]

Dax, there are two components.

An ACStats plugin. This one is already done by someone else.

A database and webpage, this one was done by me and my brother.

We have to work within the limitations of the plugin, it only uploads when you log off, so can not have the webpage update continously as you hunt, since the data is not available until you log off.

...or did I missunderstand you again? (I'm kind of speed reading atm)

Downy, I'm not sure who the developer(s) of AC Stats is. I would think there might be a link to contact them on the http://www.acstats.com website, or maybe through the download page Third Party Paradise sends you to. I'm not sure if this helps, but that's the best way I can think of right now to contact the AC Stats devs.

Alrighty, you did answer my questions.

However, on the old stats page there was a column that showed you how many steps (times you clicked the green button).

Since it was on the old page, I'm assuming the program allows for that kind of calculation.

Therefore, I'm asking Zat if he could just add that back in the stats page.

I'll try to contact the dev of acstats and ask him if he would be interested in my refresh idea.
