Moving!

I am moving (only 10 miles) and may end up having to be without internet for a couple of days. If I have orders to follow, I'm sure I won't be gone for more than a couple of days. Making this post for insurance in case there is a problem.

I hate to admit this but, I brought the lap top over to the new house to see if my DSL was working yet. Only got the power light to come on and the other 2 lights wouldn't flash or anything.
Decided to sleep on the floor tonight at the old place.........at least I would have cable and internet access for the next 2 days. I spent 40 minutes on the phone on hold with tech support before I hung up in discust!
After I got back to my old place and hooked up my Lap top, the same thing was happening (only the power light)
When I looked down at the modem itself, the phone line was disconnected from the DSL motem.
So, hopefully It will be working Friday when I have to be all the way out of the old place!
If I don't upload for a few days after Friday, it means there is something still wrong.

I can't believe it!!! DSL is switched over in the same day I moved!
Laptop is on top of the file cabinet so I can play asheron's call a bit tonight hehe

Never got the shakes, put all the wiring for the laptop in a bag and took me about 30 seconds to hook it up! After 14 hours of moving Friday, I posted here and got in. Think it takes a day or so to get the shakes

I had the shakes like you wouldn't believe. I had to go without internet for 11 days when I moved this month. I can't believe you were able to get hooked up so quick. Not only did I not have internet for 11 days but no cable either. My XBox definately got some attention though.

IB, I started working on DSL and cable about 20 days before I moved
