Hurricane Isabel headed my way

They expect this powerful hurricane to hit the Virginia, DC, Maryland area by this Thursday. Winds expected over 100 mph which will topple many, many trees taking out power lines. I have taken the proper steps in case of power outage (the local lines are below ground, but the main feeder lines are not).

If the power goes out, I will not be online until they find some way to restore it. Sometimes I go without a power outage, but the cable company supplying my Internet service is in an older area and loses power frequently.

I wish I could put level 7 protects around my house

Thanks.

The eye of the storm will be passing to the west of me, but they say that being on the right side of the hurricane will bring tropical type winds. The aren't saying it will cause heavy rains. It goes way beyond that to heavy squalls. Haven't been in one of those since off the coast of Iceland while in the Navy about 30 years ago.
