I log in today, I'm 2M ahead of quota. Including the 80M or so when I got back in, cuz I switched over to DT for a minute.

Then I turn in Toothbrush for 70M.
Then I turn in Tessera for 350M.
Then I turn in Pincer for 3M.
Then I hunted for about an hour. Another 20M.

NOW I'm 10M behind quota???

Yes, Tessera+Toothbrush do passup. I tested this with vassal not too long ago. I got a gigantic bundle of XP, like 50M when he handed in some.

Just a friendly reminder that our xp's are averaged over a 21 day cycle...if you haven't hunted for long periods...like days that run into weeks....the xp's you had banked will vanish very quickly to cover all the days you did nothing.

Recently I had a major xp day drop off my 21 day cycle...I lost over 100 million banked xps in less than 24hrs because that huge pass-up day was now gone....it took me an entire week to regain my loss.

Try and remember you need to hunt for at least 50 per week....if you haven't hunted much for 2 weeks...you now need 100 m to make in one day...and if you haven't done crappo in the last 3 weeks...you now need 150m. Those xp's are earned xp's.....plus...you loyalty bonus plays a factor in how hard you have to hunt ot pass up your quota.

Even if my quota just SUDDENLY died.

500M at my status makes for at LEAST 120M passup. My loyalty is high, and my in game time is maxed.

Lag....the day I referred to that dropped off my 21 days was a HUGE VoD fellow day that you was in too...we had the most amazing v spawns I ever saw...remember?....so if I lost over 100m banked...so did you..infact...you might have lost more cause I think you hunted longer than me that day.

It is averaged over 21 days not a hard cut every 21 days.

You can't earn 500M and have it gone the next day.

Whew.I just don't understand any of that stuff.I'm just trying to get my loyalty higher than Phades and then I will be happy

Lag, I'm not sure about this, but I have heard before that, while tessera XP counts toward leveling, it does NOT count toward quota. That might be true since the XP goes directly into that skill. I don't know if it goes to the skill in the same way Insta-Og dumps 500 points into Creature for a successful cast but only put 50 points into you spendable, passed-up XP pool.

We can certainly have Ranger look at the database record and see exactly what was credited when, as far as quota goes.

I seem to remember Gimped Mage or someone turning in a bunch of magic defense tesserae, getting like a level and a half out of it, and saying it didn't help thier quota at all.

If your patron gets the XP, it should count towards your quota, no matter where it comes from.

I'm not positive I'm right about the tessera XP not passing up, that's just what I think I remember hearing once. It should be easy enough to tell for sure, as long as Compadre's last update was after you handed in the tessera. He shows an update time of late last night or early this morning, so if you handed it in after that it should be REALLY easy for him to notice the difference in XP at login.

Well, last time I turned in a tessera, i went from like 102% to 110% in just that one login.

This time, I went from 2M ahead, earned 500M then found myself 8M behind.

It isn't _just_ tessera

I did a tessera, an ash tooth, and an hour in VOD at 35M/hr.

Can you explain how even the 35M was enough to drop me 8M behind?

Who takes care of the acstats anyway?

Lagmatic I am pretty sure that Tessare xp is not passed up, just like any other quest items that give you xp directly into the skill. Ie, your patron gets 0 of it.

Most people that hand in Tessare probably hand in five at once to max out, that would give in the range of 1400M which would mean maybe 400M is passed up. That should be noticable.

It used to be so that you did not even get xp into your skill (they just moved the base up a point), but they changed that a while back at the same point as specialized skills got a +10 bonus.

By turning in tessera you mean giving one of the 5 tessera you are allowed per character to the timaru aun to raise your skill by one point?

I had not realized that they raised your overall xp, I just thought they were one additional point to a skill.

Wimp, not sure they raise in game total xp.

Treestats/acstats calculate your total xp by summing the xp spent into all stats and skills.

Only way to check it is to have someone not 126 hand in a tessare since anyone 126+ is already at max total xp in game.

I have a loyalty or leadership (orboth) tissue, I'll raise loyalty (or leadership) on a mule so its a noticable ammount, then swear it to a character that has no active vassals, then turn it in and see if it passes up, give me a couple weeks to set this up and we'll find out for sure
