Restarting the Pusher Fellowships

THIS IS AN OFFICIAL REQUEST FROM THE CHAIN MANAGEMENT FOR ALL WHO ARE WILLING TO DONATE A BUFF CYCLE (or more) TO HUNTING WITH THE PUSHER FELLOWS.
I'm not really yelling above, I just wanted it to look all official and all.

We have gone a week or two without running any pusher fellowships now (RL, got sidetracked, etc.)
I started a pusher fellowship again this morning with Another BM, but I have moved him to a different place. He is standing on top of the LS in VoD. The password is still ld. I tested him for a while last night and again for about an hour this morning and nothing seemed to bother him there. I think he will be okay unless someone purposely drags a diamond golem on him. Nothing else seems able to physically reach him there. If you don't mind hunting with the pushers, please help out. You will need to jump up on top of the LS for Another BM to auto-fellow you. Send him a /tell of ld and he should recruit you. Anywhere from the LS all of the way into VoD is all the same landblock, so all of the kills will count for full XP. Thank you in advance to everyone who helps in this.
We will work on placing a pusher bot in more locations too, so more people have an opportunity to easily donate a buff cycle or two each week to hunting with the pusher fellowships. This is NOT a requirement. It is a sincere request from the chain management for your help in doing something that can result is a very large increase in XP going into the chain.
I will be hunting Oof almost exclusively in the pusher fellow from now on. About the only time I won't be hunting in the pusher fellow is if I am questing or helping someone with something.

Hopefully we can get the bots at Marketplace back up using the new fellowship concept where a player carries the fellow out to AL instead of having the bots lead it.

I'm open to suggestions as to where people want another bot.
Marketplace for AL dungeons and Olthoi Arcade
AL portal drop for above-ground AL hunting
East of Ulgrim's House for Small Golem hunting (XP is about 4-6M an hour solo there)
Inside Mage Tent in Ayan (you can get pretty far away with full XP share)
Top of Virindi Shroud Dungeon
Top of the crater ridge near VoD hot drop
Others?

in the cubicle beside me so I can unload all of the exceptionally challenged clients that call?
every person that does a buff with one or more of the bots is helping out the entire chain

Podunkmer,
Do you remember how far away you can get before the XP starts to drop significantly? I seem to remember it is a long way before it drops completely off, and at least a few clicks before it drops at all. I hadn't thought about inside the mage tent in Ayan. That might be a good idea.
The marketplace is always a good choice, especially since the Olthoi Arcade seems to share the same landblock.
I also want to test the edge of the water on Aerlinthe.
As long as the VoD lifestone continues to be safe, there probably isn't a need for a pusher bot near the VoD drop, unless we had multiple fellows going.
Caul is always an option too, since the tower near the drop is completely safe and all of Caul is one landblock.

BTW, Thank you to Luang and Starting Over. I logged Oof on when I had a few minutes this morning to see whether Another BM was still alive, and Luang was at the VoD LS.
He joined the fellowship and, when I logged out a little later, he was hunting away.

Thanks for getting us started on the Pusher Fellows, Part Two.

From what I understand, you can get *really* far in some cases, as is evidenced by the whole Walled Portals -> VoD share. But I'm not sure of exact values, and it's not directly tied to map coordinates, unfortunately, so it would be different in lots of cases.
I wouldn't be surprised if every single dungeon (with the exception of the Arcade, which was added later) on Marae Lassel were in the same landblock, or if the entire above-ground area of ML was as well. Same with Aerlinthe and all of its dungeons. All of the Vesayan Isles might be close enough to share, and same with Aphus Lassel. You could probably cover the entire Obisidan Plains (good luck finding a safe spot though!)
As for dungeons, if you type the /loc command, the first four digits is the dungeon ID, then the next 4 digits is the landblock. I can't figure out a way to grab that info from the ACMaps site, but I imagine it's kept somewhere handy by plugins such as Magellan and ACExplorer. I'm not sure what the limitations on share distance are, but I heard someone mention once that it was maybe 10 or 20 landblocks.

For Aerlinthe have you considered the Lighthouse by the drop, nothing should be able to get the bot from either the top or the room near the top.

if you ant a really save place to have a pusher for VoD is the Walled Portals (24.1S,57.7W)
firtle used to have his horisontal pushers there(i was in it was sweet lvling from 54 to 94 in a week but he was mad spending 10 hours a day in VoD)
anyway its a good spot with no loss of xp from VoD

We tried that but it seemed that people were unwilling to go out of their way to pass through there before going to VoD.

Red, we had tried the Walled Portals, but with very limited success. Firtle's chain worked there, partly because he hunted like a madman with the horizontal fellow and partly because the rest of the chain hunted a lot too (or at least it seemed like).
The Walled Portals is too inconvenient for people to get to unless they want to give up a tie to get there. I never could find a portal for there that was summonable, so it was either recall or run.

FYI, the VoD LS seemed to work pretty well. Another BM lost the connection at some point today, but didn't die. After I saw he wasn't ingame anymore, I logged him on to see if he had died. He had 17 million sitting there from people hunting with him today, and has passed up somewhere between 6 and 7 million into the chain. For part of a morning and in a trial run, that isn't bad.

Actually Firtle was a one man show. Once he quit, their VoD horizontal fellowships fell apart. I've been out to walled portals a few times recently, and there's nobody there.
For the walled portals thing to work, we'd have to have a bot at the mansion or somewhere that cast walled portals, and the fellow bot at walled portals would have to cast VoD hotdrop to make things convenient enough to work.
Even after all that, I doubt it would be that popular, since most of the chain pretty much ignores the whole horizontal concept and doesn't hunt in the fellows even when we ask them to. (Which kind of irks me.)

I'm thinking the VoD LS is so much more convenient than the Walled Portals that it will work well for one of the pushers to hold a fellow in.
Thanks for the info, Heat. If Firtle really was the one-man show, it makes it even more impressive what they accomplished with their horizontal chain.
