42 days after the last one...last one was 07/05/03...I think that was the date/cut off to post for the last promotion. (However....some of those moves are still not completed) Not sure what effect that has on announcing the next one.

So about 08/16/03 should be some where near the time frame for the next one.

Best to let our Chain managers answer this.

This Saturday, July 05 will be the end of our first promotion period in the Order of Hyssop.

Your feedback and suggestions in the promotion are appreciated and we will discuss them, but saw no reason to delay starting the first set of promotions for those who qualify and who POST IN THIS THREAD they would like to be promoted.

Here's how it will work. The cutoff time for qualification is 5 PM EST on Saturday, July 05. 5 PM EST is late night European time and mid-afternoon for west coast US so we figured that is the most practical time (plus, that's about when Phade gets home from work). If you believe you qualify for a promotion and would like to move up, post your desire in this thread. Phade will take a snapshot of the quota page Saturday, verify the quota numbers, and will then post promotion orders Saturday night.

The promotions should happen every 42 days. If people don't get sworn in very quickly that will not delay the next promotion cycle. The plan is to announce the beginning of the next promotion cycle shortly before the 21 days that will show up in that reporting period. That way, everyone knows a promotion period is active and all of that.

Just a side note for yu all. The only people that will be affected by a promotion will be the mover and the person being passed. You all need to understand that if someone is making that much more xp above their patron, the grand patron will still see more xp recieved because of the move up and loyalty bonus will not overcome that much added xp.

Another point! The person being passed already recieved awesome xp from that person being moved, so they really shouldn't feel like they are getting the shaft! They had a great run while it lasted!

The person originally underneath the person moving up will be affected too.

Character A
Character B
Character C
Character D
Character E

If Character C is moving up, these are the people whose loyalty bonus will be reset:

Character B, because Character C will be the new patron
Character C, becuase Character C's new patron will be Character A.
Also, Character D, because Character D will get Character B as a new patron.

I was meaning to add that Oof

But in some cases, the vassal was hoping the first move by their patron would be done so they could move the next time hehe. So yes, they lost the bonus but now are more able to be promoted after another 42 days.

Yes, losing the loyalty bonus does decrease that prior key vassals numbers. I have not seen a complaint on this yet however.
