Heh, I'm going to bring Steelheads question here from another thread:

Is the quota going to be compiled over a 21-day period like FC, or are we going to be more strict about weekly passup?

How many Chars are being allowed per player?....I honestly think this should be limited to 1 per player.


Also....if you fail to meet quota and are removed....does it mean you are pushed all the way to the bottom of the food chain when you re-enter it?

Those are both very good questions DL.

This is my opinion:

1) The limit should be 1 per player (with case-by-case exceptions, such as, if a person has two people in FC already and is high producing on both)

2) If they are booted out of the *new* chain for quota failure they should re-enter the FC according to the True level.

If they are booted for something like update failure or being chained around due to (lack of) board participation, they should have to go through the whole application process again and then be inserted at true level.

When I'm lvl 126 I'll want in!
Few question's

Will there be a new forum?
Will this chain have a new chain page? (ie.Food Chain Status Report web page)

Will the food chain managers be "doing" both chains? or will there be new openings for managers in the Food chain? (managers in food chain are high lvl and I assume will be moving to the new chain)

Why would any one lvl 126+ stay in the Food chain?

Looking at the chain listing, nearly everyone who is 126+ is meeting the 12 million requirement.

Will the food chain have removal orders for all the ppl moving to the new chain? If so, this will only affect the 126+ part of the food chain. How will this be planed out? Will there be a "dead line" to not lose your spot in the new chain? Because if you do miss the dead line you get put on the bottom?

Since new inserts will be added to the bottom of the new chain section, this "duty" of anchoring the 12 million section will rotate between chain members fairly regularly as new people enter the chain.

If I read that right, then once you are in, no one will be inserted above you. All new ppl will be under you. Only to be passed by the 3 level rule.


I'm thinking cool, I turn lvl 126 , I get in, few days later a lvl 150 from the food chain wants in, he goes under me. Now how does he pass me by 3 lvls if he is lvl 150 and I'm lvl 126 ?

Anyway those are the few questions off the top of my head.

I like the whole thing. I am going to lvl and get in this thing asap.
I hope the new chain gets a real cool name, its top of the line after all.

Yeah, I too was wondering what happens if you try out the new chain and wnat back into FC, how soon can u re-enter and where would u be placed

There will be a new chain page for posting, but the same url will be used, yoru name will just be moved to the new chain listing (CC and FC both use the same URL now for uploading so I don't think adding a 3rd one will be very hard (could be wrong, ranger can smack me if I am )

Well, some people are happy just hunting casually, staying at 100% and having fun or relaxing, while other's enjoy higher xp output, (and input).
We are trying to make sure that there is a spot for every play-style

I for one will have one of my chain characters in the new chain and leaving phade in this chain.

we'll let you know on this one once we've ironed out all the details.

I have had a look at the stats page, it looks great but I am not sure where to find out exactly how much above quota I am.
I just want to make sure that ober the last few weeks I have been
earning enough to qualify for the new 12 mil quota.

ok according to the long report, here's what you have:

XP Req to Push: 398,891,614
XP Pushed (Total): 453,466,234

difference: 54,574,620

The only thing I'm not sure on is what time that covers. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say you'd be fine in a 12 mill chain.
