Last Dynasty - A Solclaim Community

Right now in the market there is a mule holding a fellowship called "Last Dynasty"

If you are a lower lvl looking for xp tonight, just join the fellow by telling the mule "xp".

Run El Tank on "Buff Only" setting or run a trade bot or anything that will keep you in game. Its best if we keep the lowers in the fellow to around 3 people. I will be hunting with Heat in the fellow tonight in some rough high xp areas, like Devastor dungeon. Marketplace and AL are on the same landblock so xp passthrough should be pretty good. Hopefully this fellow will be open all night and will fluctuate as people join and leave.

This is more of an experiment than anything else. Just trying to think of ways to get more xp to lowers in the chain. Anyway, if you want to put a lower in or help hunt, just go to market and find Heat's Fletchemist. Then come out to AL and join me in some monkey spanking. We'll see how well this works.

This is a cut and paste from the managers board where we have been talking about pushers for the lowers and ways to do it. I posted my experiement there and this was my reply after we tryed it:

Oof and I spent about an hr messing around with this.
We had mixed results.

I hunted for about an hr and ended up with a little under 2millon xp on Heat's Fletchemist. It doesn't seem that good, but on the other hand we had 3 people in the fellow and only one was hunting. So Im not sure if that was good xp or bad considering that.

One thing is for certain though. Xp passthrough was not as much as we had hoped at marketplace. Oof moved Borg to Boboville and xp wasn't any better there. Xp was made but it didn't seem to be that much. Again, we only had one person actually hunting, so it just may have been that I wasn't making enough xp to make it seem worthwhile. Maybe if we had a full fellow it would have been different. That might prove hard to organize in this way. I had envisioned having the lowers just leave their characters running at the marketplace and people in the chain could fellow with them for awhile every now and then. But it looks like now, that this wouldn't be worthwhile unless there was a full fellow.

The best way to do this might have to be VoD tag-alongs or something of that nature.

So this idea is dead for now, but not forgotten. We're going to be working on this.

Damn them for fixing this bug just as we're about to use it

I believe the Devs are looking VERY closely at dungeons/landblocks for this very reason. I'm sure they plan to rid the worlds of these means to gain xp's in a timely manner before it becomes as big an issue as UCM's were.

The drop off for AL was removed for this very reason.
