LOL @ Phade
hmmmm......maybe we should disqualify all mages too since they start with 100 self and between their focus and self they put a HUGE amount of xps...and those xp's were not put there to raise loyalty.....lol
No matter how you look at this...it's awesome....some peeps over lv 126 really had some pretty low loyalty.....it's nice to see a certain number rising...and for the most part..it's not that expensive.....
I personally would like to see a higher loyalty requirememnt placed on the OH....we are supposed to be the uber xp makers..we should have uber loyalty too...

What do you mean it's not that expensive to raise? It's costing me over 106 mil to raise a frickin' point(and counting). I only wish I could spec it!!!!! No stopping for this guy. Thank you chain for allowing me to be able to raise 1 point a day. Tommorrow my base loyalty will be 263. One week ago my base was 235. One week of sacrificial chain pass-up is a small price to pay. My challenge is to all 126+ to have their loyalty cost to be over 100mil to raise. It's GO time.
I love this game.

You toss out a rough challenge I B, but okay.
I plan to eventually max loyalty anyway. People can call me a noob if they want.

Just some math based on numbers posted by Stargren here earlier.
250 base loyalty, no time bonus buffs to 300, 29.8% x 1.25 = 37.25% effective passed up
(including patron's leadership modifier)
250 base loyalty with 240 hours time bonus, buffed modified 600, gives 63.5% as effective passup
300 base loyalty (requires spec) with time bonus, buffed modified 700, gives 72.25% as effective passup!!
Basically, stability pays off.

You made a good observation Naka. I hadn't thought before about whether the loyalty calculations take into account the 125% a patron can pull from the XP pool (assuming an effective leadership of 163).
The fact that a patron can pull 25% more XP than a vassal actually puts into the XP pool makes having a higher loyalty and loyalty bonus even useful in pushing up large amounts of XP.

I am not so sure about that time bonus anymore.
Stargren's 8.8% + 7% for each 100 loyalty seems to hold pretty well, but if there is a time bonus that must be included in the formula. Atleast for the one datapoint I had (wrote down some numbers and checked after a few hours of VoD hunting).
290 buffed loyalty gave 29.5% to patron (formula said 29.1%), with leadership bonus that would be 36.9%. I checked numbers for vassal xp, so that has been filtered out.
It is possible that without the time bonus the numbers should be 3.5% per 100 loyalty, anyone got a mule that can check that?
(Brasklapp : I am hungry, so numbers could be wrong)
