Formalized 126+ Chain Insertion Policy

I have been part of LD for 8 mnths, so i feel i have earned the right to speak up, I am totally amazed that people who leave the clan, go off and earn billions of Xp elsewhere, have the cheek to whine and moan that on their return to LD they dont get placed at the top of the chain. I could have done that and so could my partner Ef but our loyalties lie with LD hence why we are still here.

In fact Ef isnt even in the chain as are alot of peeps in LD, they are here for the clan, so if you people coming back are really so loyal you wouldnt care where you are placed in the chain but be glad to be in LD period.

I have to agree with her as she is the boss but you have to ask where all these people's loyalties to the clan went when they left, the clan owes them nothing/nada/zero/zip, past exploits count for nothing, let them join at the bottom and earn the right to progress by there current exploits NOT the old ones

It doesnt matter anymore Start informs that he refuses to let me make that sacrifice that i offered . It appears then that he will leave the clan which means i go too.

You know that probationary period is a heck of alot respectable than this .Heck id even go months during a probationary period .alot better than sticking a permenant Tag on someone, that is very degrading .

Which you guys might want to think about in the future to good standing members .. Im not talking about new recruits. Dont be so cold, harsh and rigid towards to people you call family . People sometimes dont make the best of decisions you shouldnt permanately demean them. Forgiving is what family is about .

I'm afraid your post and Bazils truely shows IMHO that your were never interested in the clan, just what you can get out of it, if you truelly believe what you say then none of this would have been an issue you would have just been happy to have come back

But if you look at what i wrote About loyalty you will see why i Have to leave. probally something you obvious dont underestand ... or you its a misunderstanding.

SHAME SHAME on you and i am still a clan mate . To insult me like that is pretty darn silly .

I am sorry to post agian but What eternal flames posted and attitude towards me makes understand why this happens . its that kinda attitude .

EF I am willing to sacrifice everything short of my patron and friend to stay in this clan everything ..........................

I even offered to do it .

I have to ask is eternal flames the kinda of person that is let into this clan ? and kept . how sad.

Gimped, stop playing the martyr. You're overdoing it.

You keep on throwing "SHAME SHAME" around, "I expect an apology" and "That attitude".

Well, consider this a post about YOUR attitude.

I will not say anything here about what i think is fair in this matter, because frankly, i couldn't care less. This is exactly why we have managers and rules.

You're acting like a child whining for a hand where he got a finger. You criticize people for having an opinion different than your own, blaming it on their, and supposedly, the clan's 'attitude'. Strangely, i have never heard anyone, inside or outside the clan, say anything like that.

LD welcomes you and your friends back with open arms, but oh boy if we don't supply on demand

For over 50 posts and a couple of days this matter has already been going on, and frankly, i'm sick of the whole thing, certainly because ZERO progress is made.

Gimped and friends, managers, please resolve this matter, but please put and end to this 'As the World Turns' scene.

Ya I understand people have different opinions . Gosh this world be a crazy place if everyone like me .. i shudder to think of that possiblity .

As far as attitude .. I go by what i have recieved here in this post .

But i beleive the issue was solved already . it was eternal flame who choose to make it more of an issue.

And now it seems the issue continues a little further . Sheesh .

I guess i am not allowed to defend myself or be upset . oh wait probally shouldnt say that i might be termed martyr.

This matter was resolved on day one as far as I was concerned Bor. I never intended on breaking the rules. Thats how chains start into a downward spiral and fall apart. We must (and will) keep things fair.
These guys came in here and said a lot of things that were uncalled for.

Gimped questioned my honor (and that of the rest of the chain), Sunyata said we "screwed people over" and through it all I did nothing but attempt to refrain from personal attacks and stick to the rules.

This has simply been an awful display. I agree, that if loyalty to the clan was the only thing that mattered here none of this would be an issue. They would have taken the spots offered according to policy. All of them, not just Gimped. Obviously that was not the case and at this point I think everyone can see this. (I thought this from the start but held my toungue because I didn't want to influence anyone else's opinion. I instead simply pointed to the policy and left it at that.) At this point I can see most of these guys wouldn't be back at all if it weren't for the chain and the xp it generates.

Instead of returning and accepting the privledge of being offered a spot in the chain, they came back as if it were their right to be here and to be exactly where ever the hell they wanted. (Membership in the chain is a PRIVLEDGE for all of us, btw. The chain owes me nothing. The chain owes you nothing.) Questioning the loyalty of hardworking management, and that of people who were here in the clan all along, bartering for spots in exchange for placement in others, making personal attacks and then demanding apologies for THEIR mistreatment. Well it doesn't work like that. I posted this on another thread and I'll post it here too. Im done with this topic. These guys have pissed my off and I can no longer be impartial to this situation. If it were left up to me at this point none of them would get in the chain at all anyway. Period. I know thats the anger talking, so its time for me to step back and walk away. HC and or Chain Management will PM me if there is anything left to sort out on this issue. Im done. I suggest everyone else do the same as me.

Heat i have to wholy agree with you the Personal attacks on both sides were wrong .

Both sides bro dont forget that tho i hate to say it in them terms i would like to consider it with no sides .

for my part in that i am sorry . can the others say that?

i had no intentions of things coming out this way . I did the best i could under the situation i was givin.

this was handled poorly form the start .. i was upset and rightly so . And it was handled poorly on bothsides the rest of the way through.

I have recently had some things explained to me. that the chain is not the clan .. the chain is what it is , a chain . it was not like that . used to be a Clan with a chain . the chian was also the clan . maybe i didnt realize this or i Was denying that fact to myself. It would of made alot this easier tho for me .

Not much more for me to say . I am just very sad atm.

Wish we could start this over from the beggining for us all to handle it alot better.

I will follow my patron .. its something i have tried to do all the time . I cannot help it . It goes with how i feel about clans being a family.

Just because i do not wear the LD tag does not mean i do not carry the things we have stood for in my heart . no matter where i go.

So feel to call me if u need a hand ... feel free if u need hand on a quest or looking for someting i might have it , corpse recovery what ever. Until I leave the game This will be A home that i grew up in .

I should have stepped in earlier, but I didn't set aside the time to properly troll the boards.

It seems there is no progress being made in this thread.

Please discontinue from posting in this thread. The only thing that seems that can happen is people will get hurt.

I'm not going address any one person. I don't believe it's necessary.

I have resisted posting here as I have complete confidence in the chain managers. They have a policy that protects the current chain members. It's not a punishment. This policy has been in place for months. It didn't need to be made public, because we made sure we talked to people one on one that wanted in the chain that were 126+. The policy is designed to keep the stability and the integrity of the chain intact and to disallow non-LDers from taking over the Food Chain.

Chains be their very nature are based on greed. We have very few people that leave that come back. Neither chain is the highest producing chains on the server. The Food Chain is perhaps the longest lasting for a reason. We have people that stay. The policies are focused on protecting them. Many chains are just chains, regardless of their longevity. Our chains have a member base that is for all intents and purposes, old. It doesn't take them long to become part of Last Dynasty.

We have to make decisions based on our members. They are first and foremost. And I am not proud, but humbled to be associated with the people that have stuck with us when times weren't as good as they had been. When things seemed better elsewhere, they stayed. When we had multiple chain breaks and the XP was litterally zero, they didn't move on. They stuck with us and we worked through it. It was tough, but it always pays off long term.

I appreciate everyone's passion and concern, but mostly the support for those who give limitless time and energy without accepting a dime and expecting no appreciation to make not only the chain, but the clan work. I don't limit this to chain mgrs and HC. This includes virtually everyone in the clan. We are individually and collectively the Last Dynasty.
