Is there more going on here than you guys are telling us??? Because a 1 person break in a chain shouldn't cause this much of an issue fixing. If just one person broke, and swore around, then swear around him and fix the many for the 1, deal with the 1 later. To sum it all up, let's get this fixed..............................

No, there isn't anything going on with the break and subsequent fix than what I've already posted in the first page of this thread. Ritual has sworn to Ranger; that's part one of the fix process. Part two is for Luang to break from me and swear underneath Spoonerii.
There wasn't a one person break in the chain so I'm not sure what you mean by saying "Because a 1 person break in a chain shouldn't cause this much of an issue fixing." Granted, the actual break started with one (or two) people, but the break involves a lot more characters than just one; it caused probably half the chain to be out of the monarchy. We patched it within a few minutes, but that's all it was, just a patch.
The fix is in progress, but it takes some time as we can't reach across the phone lines and make people log in whenever we want. I had Ritual-IX try to swear to Vermillion Ace. Ends up, VA wasn't logging on quickly. We gave him something like a day (as opposed to the four we wait for normal chain activities) then Ritual swore to Ranger (the next one up). Now, Luang needs to swear to Spoonerii. It is approaching a day on that part. If it isn't done quickly, we'll change the people involved in the swearing.
Swearing around the people involved in the fix without giving them a reasonable amount of time to respond is neither fair nor right. Nothing about chain breaks and their fixes is "fair." We will get the break fixed as quickly as we reasonably can. In the mean time, I'm sorry about the loss of rank many of our chainers are having to deal with, as well as the disruption to the normal XP flow. Breaks and their fixes are an occassional (and with the LD chain, rare) occurrence in chain life, and we all have to deal with it.
This time, a lot of the lower part of the OH are the ones who are adversely affected by this. The last time, it was me, Heatmiser, Steelhead, and a few others at the top of the OH who were out of the chain for a week or week and a half. It happens, it gets fixed, and we go on. My hope out of all of this is that people are reminded how important it is to follow orders exactly as posted. If orders are followed exactly most chain breaks wouldn't happen in the first place.

In your words Oof "There was a brief chain break today when Luang tried to swear to Spoonerii. It seems that Ritual-IX wasn't sworn to his OH chain patron yet which kept Luang from being able to succesfully swear to Sponerii." There is the "1" that is what I based it on. That's all, sorry if I was wrong.....................

Ah, ok, I see what you meant now.
I didn't understand your reference, and just included that in my explanation of where we stood on things and what we're working on to get things fixed.
I had to leave for a while earlier. I'm back now and planning on going in game shortly. We will do our best to get this fixed as quickly as possible.

Heh. Yeah, I've been out of this chain a couple times for more than a week. Sometimes things like this happen. Just be patient, be informed, and be proactive in getting it patched.
Add the parties involved to your friends lists and look for them in game.
I've patched this chain on multiple occasions, just like that.
