The problem with doing this with the Casual Chain is the fact they have no enforced quota. The XP put in WOULD disappear fairly quickly. Plus, the horizontal mules we've been using have been sworn to their FC patrons for a long enough time that their loyalty bonus is maxed. The lowest level "bot" we have been using is Another BM, who at level 67 has his loyalty buffing to 300 so the pass up is pretty good.
Regarding the not fellowing on the bot, yes, we have had problems with that at times; it's one of the reasons I haven't pushed harder on trying to get people to hunt with them yet.
Regarding getting people to hunt with them consistently, that may be a bit of a chore. First, we have to get them set in appropriate places. Then, it is a matter of taking a pulse to check for interest, along with probably a limited test case with some volunteer people for a week or two. With a handful of people to volunteer to hunt consistently for a bit we can prove or disprove the impact this can have on the overall chain XP. I'm hoping if we can push a large chunk of XP into the chain over a week or two, it will encourage many more people to participate.
It's like a grand experiment.
