Here is a question for you. I understand that the higher tusks are % and do not get passed up, HOWEVER, if the tusks were turned in using a fellowship, wouldnt the 'shared' xp be passed up? I wouldnt mind helping some level 100+ get their tusks and do a turn in using a fellow to test this theory.

Thoughts?

NO TC, all XP is yours and yours alone for the tusk

Also, if I put Pallal in the fellow, I could turn him on in buffbot mode, since he has all level 7's. Would anyone make use of that or should I not bother? I have no problem buffing members of the Casual chain if they want to hunt around Walled Portals, or if they don't even join the pusher fellow, but I would certainly restrict him to LD only buffing.

Couldn't hurt if you don't mind running a buff bot. I hope this catches on. So far I've been hunting Lacuna every night in a fellowship consisting of me and the bot. :\

Im just trying to help the chain here people. LOL

And no, the "percentage tusks" do not pass into fellowships. The fixed xp tusks do however, just like othoi pincers.

FYI: The Olthoi Arcade appears to be in close proximity to Marketplace as well, slightly farther than tusker dungeons. I haven't tried it, but if there are people who like hunting the nobles/evis/warriors/mutilators that could probably also work.

Also, I don't think XP shares when you are running overland on Aphus Lassel, so when you get in the fellow, hurry along if there are other people already hunting, because you will be causing a small XP loss until you get into a dungeon.

Xp does not pass through when outside on AL, that is correct.

The bots are on right now fellas. We pumped about 8million into the bottom of the chain last night. That was just the AL fellow bots. Im not sure if the VoD bots had any good fellows going. I hope so.

Took this info from the Firtle boards on the concept of fellow bots and horizontal chains. Give it a read.

What benefit do we get from these Automatically led clan only fellows
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Compared to hunting solo, you get, on average dependant on position in chain, 3.9 times as much experience for the same number of hours spent hunting.

See Why!

The benefits of fellowship bonus and chain passup dont just add together, they multiply together. This means that if you get the max fellow bonus combined with the max benefit from chain passup you end up with Uber Uber XP. This is why the highest chain members of a full lacuna LSD only fellow were consistently earning over 30 million an hour and peaked at over 40 million an hour in full clan only fellowships.

On average everyone in a fellow of 7 get 2.8 times more experience than they would fighting solo - 40(%) x 7 = 280(%)

In a large clan only fellow , Any additional experience generated by the fellow passes up an average of 50% to any other person in fellow (remember the lacuna essay I wrote where this was calculated in great detail?). Extra experience for 280% compared to 100% for solo is 180% so rather than get 180% extra you get, on average, 290% extra or 3.9 times what you get solo.

So Lets say you used to get 25 million + chain passup each day from 4 hours hunting.

Now you can hunt 4 hours and get
25 mill
+ previously expected chain passup
+ an extra (2.9 x 25 mill) = 72.5 mill
-----
97.5 mill

So thats the theory - It wont work 100% accurately in practise as disconnects and other thingy up's will spoil the full theoretical effect but its gonna be dumb not to give it a try.

This clearly does NOT break or even bend the COC. here is the COC link

I've got Autofellow 2.2, but the in-game dialog says 2.1, not sure if that's a bug. Anyway, I can't figure out how to make it do anything; I don't see anywhere you can put in a fellow password like on ElTank. Is the purpose just to click "Yes" for you when someone tries to fellow you?

It's got a bunch of options to add people to member list or something, but with absolutely no explanation as to what any of that actually does. There is no in-game help, no readme.txt, and I could find no documentation on the web at all.

Can anyone help a fellow (haha, nice pun) out?

For tonight, I'm setting Pallal in the NW corner room of Marketplace as the fellow holder. Password will be "Borg."

Sorry guys - I was intending to let my laptop run in Lacuna, while I'm working on my main computer (occasionally checking my laptop).

However, yesterday, my laptop was running, and suddenly I heard this noise like a 28.8k modem... and then nothing.

Seems like the hard drive crashed, spectacularly.

When I get it fixed, I'll do some fellow hunting.

Podunkmer, I think the auto-fellow software is designed to simply say yes to anything you ask it. I need to do some digging and see it we can find out if it is configurable at all, since it is my understanding yes means just that. I believe it will say yes to any request ingame that will accept a yes response. Now, I'm not sure what all that might be, or if it could cause problems, but I'd like to find out if it is configurable.

I think I know how it works somewhat. I'll grab a few people later today and we can do some testing...

I know you can get people logged off and stuff. or tell them to leave the fellow. etc etc..

Here it is Poddy:

Log on with El Tank and Autofellow running.

If you are the leader, go to the fellowship tab on El Tank and put down your password. (Password at Market is: LD) Then click "enable autofellow"
unclick everything else.

Go to Autofellow, type on the fellow name. (Different from password) Go to the game fellowship tab and clear the line where it says "Enter Fellowship Name" then go back to Autofellow and click "Create Fellowship"

(Make sure El Tank is on.)

If you aren't the leader, just turn everthing on but don't create a fellow and get into the fellowship that's already there.

Donut, if you hunt VoD, we have a fellow running out of the walled portal area. Go to Baishi and buy sake from the bar. Run to the Drunken Madman outside of Baishi (I can't remember the coordinates right now, but AC Explorer will show you if you search for drunken madman). Give him a cup of sake. Go through the portal he summons. Take the left hand portal once you drop. The fellow will be inside there. None of the portals is summonable; however, they can be tied and recalled to. I used a tie on Oof to tie the last portal so it's easy for me to check the fellow before I go hunting in VoD.

If Aeviasis is standing in that fellow, she will summon either the VoD LS for you or the hot drop into the middle of VoD.

The pasword is Borg.

Of course, all of the above applies to anyone who would like to hunt in the area around VoD. If you are too little to hunt solo in VoD, fellow anyway and kill the dires spawn between the LS and VoD. It's all on the same landblock and you will be very easy to reach when some highlevels join the fellow. :)
