Ok Wizkids, I need a little computer help.

Ok, here's the problem. About 2 weeks ago, my game screen started going black. The combat and spell window down below was there and so was my inventory. But my game screen was black and my "paper doll" wasn't there. I could move and jump, because dots on the radar were moving.

First I tried a reinstall, then a uninstall followed by a install. Still nothing. If I turn off 3D accelerator, I can play but it's so grainy that I can't see much. Someone help me, any ideas? If I can't get this fixed I'm going to have to drop out of the chain.

Looks like its the Z-buffering bug
Start your AC settings from the AC start up screen, Click on Settings for 3D and then click advanced and check if Z-buffering is off.

(Start->Run->Settings->Control Panel->) Display->Properties->Advanced->Troubleshoot

check if the Hardware Acceleration slider is at the top right position.

remove a hotfix, the last numbers are 310, helped my problem 100%

Microsoft Knowledgebase Article 314613 about AC Video Problems also mentioning that hotfix.

start>settings>control panel>add remove programs> the hotfix thingie

Everything seems to be working now!
