Dream..
My son Aiwendil is going to start playing a bow char we made long ago named Iarwain Bed-adar. I would love to put that bow on him as a suprise.
Iarwain is sweet cause he's never hunted with him but is now level 100 because of Aiwendil and my mage Inca'nus feeding him xp for about a year now!
Let me know what u want to part with on the bow and I'll do my best to come up with a fair price!

just out of curiosity, are these new rend weapons even worth going through the trouble of making? I mean, do they do as much or better damage as an AR wep.
It seems to me for example, that a fire AR sword should do more than a fire rend sword on say tuskers. Because tuskers are already xtremely vulned to fire, so by using a fire AR sword, you get not only a damage type that it can barely resist, but you get past some of the tuskers armor.
whereas the fire rend sword will not ignore any of its armor, and since the tusker is already vuln to fire, it wouldn't seem that it could get much more vuln to it.... has anyone tested this?? blah i think you know what I am trying to say...

Don't mistake being vulned with having a low resistance to. I can't speak for tuskers, but I know my axers hits swarm evisc for about 150 a pop with bludgeon rend hammer and no imp on them and he is only level 69. I find it very useful if you are hunting a single type critter, olthoi, tuskers etc, and don't have a mage there to vuln saves a lot of time, can jsut start whacking. the difference would be casting just imperil on a critter and attacking or casting just a vuln on a critter on attacking, which would you prefer. I will go out tonight and check out difference between my slash rend axe and my AR axe and let you know.

More or less I look at it as lvl6 spells Imps and Vulns.
AR = Imps
RR = Vulns
I am not sure I am 100% correct, but I think I read that somewhere.

I really like my rending bows. I have fire, peirce and bludge and never need more than that. IMO they hit alot harder than my AR does without vulns. In VOD with a mage vulning imping the ar is better but for general hunting with no mage the rendings are awsome.

rending weapons can do insane damage to critters which have a low resistance to the damage type you are using.
Example, a fire rend bow can own Tuskers.
THe thing to remember is that Fire Rend doesn't stack with fire vuln, but it does stack with imperil to do even more damage.
