I was wondering if we could set up a system for scrolls. We all need them for characters, and most of us have many we dont need. If we somone could set up a sticky where we can have a trade system or something that can trade a scroll for a like scroll (attribute self scrolls for attribute self scrolls) im sure many of our new members and new toons would be a lot better off. I have plenty of scrolls i could donate to start it off and if others would dump their extra scrolls, we could set up a bot maybe? though it might be hard to start, once we got it going im sure it would pay dividends in the end.

i would love to donate my collection of scrolls.... i have a mule full of them

ONe thing to note: A sticky will become a big mess and get dozens of posts and in the end will lloose it's purpose

What would work is an online list of all the scrolls and the names of the people who have them to give away, but that means setting something like that up and programming it, something I couldnt do

My suggestion would be to have the people who are looking for scrolls let people know what they need. Maybe we can start a "I Need These Scrolls" sticky thread. Each person who posts a list of scrools they need is responsible for keeping their list updated, and for editing out the scrolls they get.

I'm way too lazy to type up a list of the scrolls I have, mostly because they're mostly junk scrolls, and I'm picky enough that if I start a list of scrolls I'm going to list every last one I have. That's too much work for me, and too much reading for anyone (assuming several people list their scrolls).

If I have some scrolls, I can look in the "Need" thread first and send a PM to the first person on the list whose needs match some of my scrolls. They can set up a time with me to get the scrolls and then edit their needs of the thread. That way, everyone's needs will work toward the top of the list.

As an alternative, we might be able to set up a trade bot at the mansion with scrolls. I think I remember reading quite a while back that ACTrade would let you set pretty much anything as tradable "cash" so we might be able to set up a buff bot in the mansion with scrolls on it and a cost per scroll of a scarab or plant or something that is stackable.

I know ACTrade keeps a log of all the transactions, so we might could set a limit on the number of scrolls, or a "take only what you need policy". Anyone who abused the system could be put on a ban list. The down side of this is it means one or more people setting up a tradebot and running it. It has been a while since I've used ACTrade (and have never used TradeBot), but I seem to recall it would build it's inventory list automatically, and there is a Web interface where you can check the current inventory without having to be in front of the bot.

cool, we could also charge SIK's for duplicate scrolls to the same person as those pretty easy to find, because they could be used for more srcolls, and the plat idea was cool too because the person whose bot it is can make something as they pay monthly for it
