If this wasn't your intent, I sincerely apologize. I did get some messages about it, which why I had to find this post.

My problem is Mages are expensive. After getting Buffy up to where she was when I turned her over to Oof, and now leveling Merryweather, Im broke except for a few items.

I guess I perceived that as Buffy being your source of income.

Buffy was a source of EXPENSE not income, as is Merryweather. Never meant to be a source of income. But mages are fun and usefull anyway. I bitched and moaned a bit early on when I first started running her because she was rapidly depleting my stockpiles. But Ive always been broke, and this week I have figured out my problem is 2 fold.

1> I dont hunt areas where the loot is decent, or I dont stop and loot. Im here just to adventure and quest. (actually im an XP whore) I have since started camping the Props and looting like no tomorrow and have improved on this.

2> Im not up with the current economy, with whats the uber item of the week. For instance, I gave away a 10% mana, work 4 wand last week, I dont even remember who to, simply because it had no use to me at the time. (No i dont need it back, its just an example) If it has a use to me, its priceless. My stockpile of Diamond shields and Phalacterys dont mean squat to others, and it doesnt buy scrolls and comps.
