OMG I really want Granite Keys.

I am going to trade them for an ubar fubar suite of armor... I have steel to trade and plats and MMD's.. Ohh.. also have a full suite of physical GSC and other neet things.. tell me if you are interested, we will get in contact in game and work something out.

Yes, some of the VoD creatures drop twisted keys. You carve them like you would a sing key, except the skill check is higher I believe. There are two types of twisted keys, one results in a marble key upon carving, the other results in a granite key.

Marble keys are used to open oak chests in VoD, equivalent to SIK-quality loot.

Granite keys are used to open mahogany chests, equivalent to Sing-quality loot.

You need to have a lot of pack space open if you are going to empty the chests. I've heard of the mahogany chests having upwards of 70 items in them.

Im carrying a granite key that I may consider selling for Ms. Lemee know what its worth to ya, depending on how many you find.

Be advised their a bitch to pull, their always surrounded by a fast spawning group of hollow lugians, badass Grieevers, or Badass Banderlings. To stand there and pull the chest while getting beat upon will not work, you need a group for crowd control while you pull the chest.

The granite keys are made from the Mangled Dark Keys. I won't worry about having to try and pull because I am not going to pull with these. I am going to use them in a trade for some armor I want to a guy that only wants granite keys... Thx for your help guys.. Keep posting ;P
