Does this chain still exist?

Do we still have an XP chain or has it disappeared ... I see no posts for months.

The chains are still there... not many in any of them... I am the only one in the 20, not sure about the others.

by the way, what program do we use to track XP? I just wanted to know so I can install it.

Inserting you in the chain is not a big problem... as you will only need to swear to me. We (chain managers) are working on how to get you some xp as we currently do not have any players below your level.

Look for me in game, and hopefully we will have something for you soon, even if it is to share xp when some of us turn in jaws/pincers.

Do you need rank for any of your items? We would work out a way to get the rank mule under you if you need it.

We have lots of low level people in our clan ... how is it then we haven't had any of them join the chain?

None of them seem to come on to the boards.. or they prefer to be sworn to their current patrons. The chains are not as good as they use to be since the changes that reduced the 'old time' xp passup. Alot of people can earn more xp in a fellow in 1 hour than they get from a chain in a month.

Not trying to discourage you, but wanted to make sure you were aware how things seem to work these days. If you need rank, then the chain is great. If you dont need rank and just want to get 'some' xp every week, then the chain is also great. If you are hoping to get a lot xp by being in a chain... that just doesnt seem to happen these days.

I don't need rank ... I don't use rank items and I never did. It probably wouldn't hurt, but its not my style.

At the moment I have a patron who doesn't even seem to play. Since I've come back to AC I've seen him twice ... so I don't have any bad feelings about swearing to someone new.

At the same time, if I get some XP from the chain, its better then the zero I'm getting now.

With the new fellowships you can get substantial XP per hour, but doesn't that translate into the same substantial XP passup? With a good fellow I can passup about 10 million an hour without much problem at all. That sounds pretty substantial to a potential patron.

And, of course, I understand its not like the good ol' days where one vassel at the bottom of the chain passed XP all the way up to the monarch.

As I said .. 'some' is way better than none (which is what I get!! )

Find me in game ans we can do the swear in. I (and hopefully other team members) will make sure you make some XP.

When do you play? I am on most nights between 6:30-7:30pm central, and during the afternoons on Sunday. If you have different hours I can check with the other chain managers and see if one of them would be better suited to your schedule.
