He is one mean dude, you will need a lot of meat shields and a healer per meat shield. Tus got killed anyways llast time. All Zarah was doing was healing Tus, healing Tus.

We did this yesterday.

Keep in mind, that we can still go again as often as we want. We just don't get the prize until our timers are up.

My kind of luck....
It take's us three tries to get the boss.
I don't die the first two times when the rest drop like flies, as Mystic Enchanter and I stand there by our selves next to the boss room alone on the second run. Then on the third run finally everyone makes it there alive (if we all would have listened it is really not prob getting down to the boss room when properly performed). So we start working the boss over. Have him down to less than half health, only one casualty. I don't watch my health as I am concetrating on the fellows health to keep them all alive (he do hit hard). Bada boom bada bing I am on way to the LS. Nothing really new for me as I have made that trip so many times I have enough frequent flyer miles that I always fly First Class. My hat is off to Lil Pup at lev 62 who mad it through Harbinger, GOOD JOB! Grats guys on killing him. I think a good plan for next time though is:
1. Pair up a healing mage to a melee.
2. Healing mages stand off so da boss does no attack them.
3. A mage with good debuff skills keeps debuffing the boss with everything and casting eradicate other on the rest.

Sounds like a good plan any way.

Thanks guys it was a ton of fun and not as scarey as others tried to make it sound.
:!: Just have to have a good plan.
:!: A good leader.
:!: EVERYONE listen and do as leader says.
:!: The right mix of mages of and melees. Mages should have healer hearts.

hehe -- That's how I died the first time. I was healing people, not worrying about my health, cuz he was only hitting me for 6 to 12 melee when he hit me. Then He hit me for 186! I tried to heal -- DOH!! ZERO mana and stamina. I Hit Ctrl-8! I weild another staff, instead of heal! - DEAD! :) hehe

He had slapped me hard a couple of times before, but I caught it and healed. I also had no business taking him on with the crew we had. I should have stood off and just let you guys handle him! It's just that I have never really played the support mage role, I have always been a mage with a melee mentality. I need to do a better job of Listening and picking my fights. If I would have stood off and just debuffed, cast heals and eradicate other we probably all would have made it alive.

It is possible for the healing mages to stand off without gettng attacked is it not?

Hey all :)

Small tip !

Last group i went with had a good plan, had about 3 mages(with H/H) that never jumped down into the pit at all, so no harm came to them, all they did was debuff harb and keep the poor melees/ archers healed.

We dragged harb over to the corner nearest the edge so we were on the mages radar..... worked out really cool !!

/e waves :)
