Imp Filter

Somehow in all the plugins I have DL'ed and installed, I have gotten 2 exact copies of Imp Filter v2 2.8.0.8 in my Network Filters list in Decal. I'm running Decal 2.5.0.1. Could there be 2 plugins that each need their own copy? Of not, could having 2 copies of it going at once be a problem, perhaps contributing to lag? I dual log on dialup, and as far as I can tell there is no one in game with more lag than me.

I have no idea which copy was intalled first, but if there's any chance that removing one would help things, I'd like to try. Any suggestions on whether to remove one, and which one to remove?

Thanks for any help.

First go to http://decal.insanity-inc.org/ImpFilter/ and download the actual version of IMPFilter. Install it and if there is still a second older version in the Decal list open regedit and go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/Decal/NetworkFilters. There you can find and remove the duplicate Filter key.

Thanks QuickWeasel. Unfortunately, when I try to install the new Impfilter, the installer tells me " Please install Decal 2.5.2.0" and quits. I've had enough problems with Decal during my time in AC, I prefer not to install any "beta" versions of it. When it's released as the new "standard" version, I'll update to it then.

Oops, that was me. Didn't realize I wasn't logged in, or that "guests" could post.
