ummmmm.......................what would be the incentive for someone to actually install this plugin? Just asking since dIRCal does what i want it to do and that is let me join in the crazy talk of fellow clansmates :drinking:

it does that, logs you tells, has afk auto reply, you can shedule quests, you can see who is online, what lvls, what kinda character. Works great when I need to find a mage or bow or whatever.

seriously I've used it and dircal.. it tends to lag me up loads but it has some cool features, well they would be cool if more people used the plugin ;)

It shouldn't lag based on the info it grabs. It may be a different plugin lagging. Kebas toolset lagged me hardcore.

I've had alot of differnt experiences with lag.... the mor functionality that a plugin has the more it will cause lag....If I know I am goign to be in a fight for my life situation.. I kill everying..I even drop my screen resolution down a notch jsut for that extra kick...

Great software, but it did SEEM to give me a little more lag than usual. But, I am going to stick it out for now. I like it.

MJ should not lag at all.

Plugin versions prior to 2.2.0.4 did contact the server for "who is online,..." info more often which was sometimes causing some sort of lag on slow dial-up connections. But since 2.2.0.4 the intervals between plugin-server communications have been enhanced to save bandwidth.

MJ uses ImpFilter like many other plugins. Keba's Toolset for instance is known to "occupy" ImpFilter so much that it causes itself and even other plugins to lag "inside ImpFilter".

If you suspect MJ to be the Lag Monster check that you only have one ImpFilter of version 2.8.0.1 or later. MJ 2.2.0.5 includes and assumes Impfilter 2.8.0.5
