OMGosh! 20+ corpses

I had one of the worst and best weekends of my AC life.
It all started with the Caul Recall Scroll quest. I died just before the last room and dropped all my AL 400+ armor. No big deal, I got my backup stuff and went out to get Thunderblade's corpse where he lagged out on the run to the dungeon. It was not long before I had left 5 more corpse on that nightmare island. Who said Axe is gimped? With the help of Thorgrim (axe) and Trekman the Axeman (umm, obviously axe), Thunderblade got his and I finally got all but one of mine. That was enough for Friday.
Saturday was Scroll quest -get my corpse back day. With a new group we headed out on the long trek to the dungeon. Lag on the Caul was bad but the group managed to get into the dungeon. I wasnt as lucky...died just before the portal and dropped my back-up armor. Not a big deal because I was able to get my back-up, back-up armor and use "the old Caul recall spell" to put me near the portal. "The old Caul recall spell" is a non-summonable but tieable portal that a virindi summons after you complete some long forgotten quest.
The quest went well, no deaths, not even me and I was able to recover my corpse and get my "Super Duper" armor back. My best memory of it was;
In a hurry to get to the next switch, I ran ahead of the group and rounded a corner to face, not one but three Hollow Minions. Squealing like a pig, I made a quick U-turn and ran back to the group to be saved by a few well placed arrows.
My corpses dont decay for 10 hours and I had one near the Scroll Dungeon portal. Piece of cake? ...nope. My first attempt left my Super Duper armor in second corpse next to my first. Arrrggg! The gloves were off, I beat this game, I am UBER, I can do anything, two corpses on the Caul and I can get them, I am the all powerfull YOUKAY and I dont need any help. .....that was mistake.
All of Saturday afternoon, Saturday evening, Saturday night, Sunday early moring and Sunday morning I spent trying to get those corpses. No sleep, lots of lag, constant spells, and no food (I lie ...had to order pizza). That was the worst fix I have been in and I was in a sour mood but just as the corpses dissolved and dropped my junk I was able to swoop in a recover. Just in time for Sunday lunch.
Thanks for the people that did the quest with me (cant remember all your names).
Thunderblade, May-hem and Tanner, I want to help you get that scroll...just keep yapping at me and we will go.
Trekman the axeman and Thorgrim, Thanks for the help with corpses.
Keebler and others, Thanks for you offer of assistance and next time I wont be so proud and take you up on it.
Zatakisan, thanks for the fellow. You were a big help.
Sarac Tamol, My apologies for ignoring your vassel pleas for information on how I was doing but I was in a really dark mood. I will try to make it up to you.
Game people: Awesome game, always fun and a real challenge but you gotta improve your support. Being stuck in world for 2+days is not acceptable. No replies to the Urgent request is not good. Not addressing the game lag in certain land blocks for 2+ days is just not right.
