This is mainly for people that know the quest already and tag along.
If I am on a quest that I am not leading, I don't lead. I follow. Regardless of the number of times I have done it, or whether I can solo it. I show respect to the leader. This is good for the leader and the quest team. By running ahead, it doesn't help the people who don't know the quest. In some instances it's bad, since they don't know what to expect the next time the run through it.
I have adopted a new, personal rule. If someone does this in a quest I am leading, I drop them from the fellow and a couple times, I have stopped the quest and run it later. These have not all been LDers. But, I don't care how well someone in the fellow knows the quest. I'm not leading the quest for them, nor me for that matter. It's for the people that don't yet know the quest.

Well said good monarch, it is exactly how I feel too.
I have so far never removed anyone from fellow for this but I think I will do it in the future.

Rofl we had a guy in our fellow while we were doin bobo. That ran so far ahead I never seen him he was always a Dungeon ahead of us. So basically I told Hys to drop his butt since he wasn't helpin us a bit

What was his point of being in our fellow if he was gonna run ahead to the next section

Sounds like something a 7 yr old would do

Oh by the way he was not LD he was in Ruthless
I would Go on any quest lead by big P or anyone he is training to lead

Well I never have to worry about that then I'm always the one people got to go back and find due to my lack of navigational skills.

I always recommend that if you are on a quest with Youkay, you go ahead of him.
Unless of course you have him on the phone, and are giving him directions on which way to turn.
Subway can be a difficult place to navigate sometimes

I wholeheartedly agree. I have led several different quests in my time, and not once have I had to drop anyone. However, there were times, in fellow chat that I had to tell someone, "Stay with the group, or get bumped." Funny thing is, that person, ever again strayed.
Of course, at the time we were heading down the last ramp in Evis Lair. This person was a level 50 mage in untinked amuli, too stubborn to accept buffs from another. (the toon only had level 4 self buffs.

I'f I'm leading a quest my goal is for you not to die. If you died because of stupidity or not following orders, you better pray I'm in a good mood. Otherwise you get your own bod.
If I'm following on a quest my goal is to not die. Usually the best way to achieve this goal is to follow the instruction of the leader.
"If you see me running for my life, take it as an apology and admission I was wrong. Btw, if that happens, you might want to try and keep up."-->Cameloo Yao
"Stick close, stay ready, stay behind me, and don't do anything until I give the word. If you stop to loot, you're on your own."--Yours Truly
"Pay attention, follow direction, and no one will die."---Warszawa
"WTF?!? I thought that was subway! Can you get my body for me?"---Someone who didn't pay attention.
