Allana, there is a minor bug in the PM system on phpBB. If you open your inbox, it will say no new messages next time, even though there are unread ones. So person ignoring you might just be ignorant of this little bug.
Just poke him/her with a good trout and I am sure you will get a prompt response, if nothing else you'll get an "OI!"
