Combat Macro Survey
Which of the choices above best describes you?
Please note that I am just curious how this breaks down. You do not need to reply to this thread and/or argue about the results. I just want to know the makeup of the clan.
Thank you.

First vote cast. Never
My vote is never but I do use Eltank for buffing since nothing else will work on my computer. I have tank set in the *buffonly* mode.
I have absolutely no interest in macroing. I don't see the point of letting my computer have all the fun alone.

I replied the way I did because even though I don't macro I know what Eltank is.
And that pption was not given.

Dumb poll, Lucky.
If you're going to have a poll, at least make it make sense.
I'm guessing what you're trying to see is a breakdown of how the people in the clan choose to play the game, and whether most people abide by the CoCs they "agreed" to when they joined the clan.
1) I UCM (Unnatended Combat Macro) most of the time.
If someone UCM's most of the time they should get out of the clan. Period. It's against the game CoC and against the clan CoC, and at this point, I doubt there is anyone in the clan who has any misconceptions about whether it is acceptable behavior to UCM.
2) I ACM (Attended Combat Macro) most of the time.
There is absolutely nothing in the clan CoC against ACMing in outdoors areas. The ban against ACM is for inside dungeons because it doesn't allow other players the opportunity to hunt unaffected by macroers. Outside, people can move over half a click and still hunt the same spawn types. Your poll question gives the people answering your poll with no way at all to differentiate between running ACM in a manner that doesn't violate clan rules and running ACM in a manner that DOES violate clan rules.
3 ) I macro most of the time, but its roughly even split between UCM and ACM.
If you're running UCM, either quit it or get out of the clan. If you're running ACM in a way that is against the clan's CoC, either quit it or get out of the clan. If you're running ACM in a way that doesn't violate the clan's CoC, then you're fine, keep doing what you're doing. This poll choice, just like with number 2, gives anyone who chooses to participate in your poll no way to differentiate between breaking or not breaking the rules, assuming they are running in ACM mode.
4) I don't usually macro, but sometimes I do.
Presumably you are talking about combat macroing still here, but now you don't even give people an opportunity to differentiate between UCM and ACM. With invalid questions, you can interpret the answers almost any way you want to interpret them.
5) I NEVER combat macro. What's El-Tank?
I'm not sure if you are being facetious here, or if you are purposely hoping to get some people to not choose number 5 because, even though they don't combat macro, they do know about El-Tank; therefore, they couldn't honestly choose number 5 in your poll. Based on the seeming lack of detailed thought that went into the other poll options, I doubt number 5 is a ploy to trip people up.
If you're going to post a poll, especially about something that as potentially divisive as combat macroing, at least take the time to write clear choices that cover the bases of what you're trying to find out. If you're just mad about something and wanting to blow off some steam, then write a post about that, put it up in the members forum, and get it off your chest.

You won't, I suppose only about 10% of the people ever post on this board. And the people who do are the most outspoken about thing, your poll will not be very representative.I just want to know the makeup of the clan.
Besides that, like Oof has very nicely shown, the way you put your questions is rather vague
You have to be trusted by the people that you lie to.
So that when they turn their backs on you.
You'll get the chance to put the knife in.

Yes, lets not ride Lucky's case, he's just polling.
Granted, there are some MAJOR flaws in the poll, but it's just a poll. If he tries to use the results as a foundation for something, THEN you can ride him, but otherwise, it's just a poll.
Besides, as we can tell from the poll already, there are 3 people voting who shouldn't even be playing the game, let alone remain in the clan.

Pollquestions could have been better, but the poll is valid; I would like to know the opinion of the clan too (and not just the opinion of the HC).
I have voted : I don't usually macro, but sometimes I do.
Because I do, and I do think 'macros', in the broadest sense of the word, are an integral part of AC.
My opinion on UCM : don't make the fact of UCMing against the COC (either AC's or LD's), but the behaviour of the toon. If the UCM is not bothering anyone, let it be. If it is, then you should act.
