I had the zone download last nite.

They must have updated something on the Zone. I don't think it had anything to do with the game. Probably one of those improvements Microsoft is always providing.

The download said "Zonefriends files" on it. I've had maybe 3 of those in the last 6 months or so and though I never use Zonefriends I can't see a dang thing different about it from the day I got my account.
I really wish I could do without it, I exit as soon as it fires up each time. I tried removing it from my computer once but the next time I logged into Game Zone it reinstalled itself.

What annoys me is the "You must wait for the page to load a lot of pointless ads, even though you are paying for this game" message.

heres a trick if you have to wait for more then 5 seconds for the ads to load and the rest of the page is already up....
hit "stop" on your browser..... it will stop loadign the page and immedialty initite the java scri9pt to open zone friends and bada bing bada boom.. youcan open your launch window and get in game
