I am seriously thinking of quiting this game after this patch. The last patch was really bad, this one made players like me worthless. I have 0 to play for now. I am just be gone before weeks end....

Do you have 200 smalls that are now worthless though?

Lorno was telling me this morning that smalls were going to be worthless with all the sentinent (sp?) frags around.

My advice:

Go to the marketplace and find all the bots that are accepting smalls. Spend your smalls on some uber loot. Then set up your own bot and resell the loot, but do not accept smalls. IMO, plats are the best and most stable currency.

I stopped accepting smalls as soon as I heard the news but i was a tad bit too late. I have a mess of them now. I bought that bow the other night for 2300 points and used 158 smalls so it isnt that bad, I stil have over 900 plats and 900 in trade notes so I guess it isnt too bad, I just am sad to see the way this went.

I never traded so I never had many Smalls.

I should buy them now for their current point value and wait 2,3,4 months.

Turbine probably will address this and other spawn-change-related issues soon. After some times Smalls will be more valuable again.
On the other hand until recently I heard from RL buddies playing on other servers that they were wondering why Smalls had such a high value of 12 points on Solclaim...so maybe SC just followed the economy trend of the other servers, with a little "help" from the new spawn system ?

And didn't I read somewhere that the Devs are considering some improvements for the Shadow Armor ? Another reason for Smalls to raise in value.....

hope he didn;t see the post about archers getting nerf'd next patch, might be the nail in the coffin...

I did, and I cant see adiff, only in the new monsters.

Archers are finaly being brought back into line with the other player classes...very few monsters were ever created with any sort of missile defense to speak of...wich was very evident when I was able to send one of my vassels out to teth at level 15 and they were able to solo out there.

A level 15 solo'd at Teth?? They must have had level 7 buffs then or stayed on the wall or something. Because at level 84 it's not easy there if I'm running around the fort and not staying inside. I took a level 40 something there and she had a hard time killing anything with her level 4 buffs.

The only question I have is this...

If you had 200 smalls.. what in GODS name were you saving them up for? Take that into account, then... start PLAYING again.

And, as I said on the "Economy Shot" post; You have no idea what is in store for the next patch, so don't be so quick to shout 'The sky is falling' or quit the game. Oh.. did I just say GAME? =)

I was saving them for any major that i might want or other item in an auction on the boards. I won a 166% 12% MD bow for 2300 just last week, that is what smalls are used for.
