Invalid_session errors when posting from work

Hello all.

I can post to the LD boards and send PMs from my home machines without issue, but when I try from work, I frequently (like 99% of the time) get an Invalid_Session error.

Sometimes I can go Back and Submit again, and again, and again, and eventually it will work. Most times it just seems doomed, and I have to wait until I get home. I perused my browser settings, but didn't see any obvious differences between my settings at home and at work.

Which suggests it's an issue with the corporate firewall at work, although I don't have the same problem with the VN boards or any others I've tried. Any experts on this particular board that could offer suggestions to fix this? I'm putting a toon in the Casual Chain, and I could respond more promptly during the day if I get this fixed.

Thanks in advance!

I doubt it is a firewall issue since you can connect to the boards, plus if you are able to post (even once) and the firewall is supposed to stop you, your firewall person may be in trouble. ;)

I have troubles with cookies on one machine from work. I don't know why it's just that one machine, but it is (and, yes, it's aggravating  ).

You might try deleting your cookies, resetting the security settings in your browser, or see if there are any updates available for Internet Explorer for your computer at work. Good luck. :)

I also get that message at home. However, it's only if I take a significant amount of time in writing a post. In other words, if I start a post, walk away, and come back some time later and try to post it, I get that message.

However, I can usually just copy my post, go back to "BB Home" and start a new post and just paste the message in there and submit with no problem.

Yes, Without looking at the admin page, I think it will default timeout at 15 mins, unless you have the keep me logged in box checked.

Found the cause, it is unfortunately related to my corporate net, and many other networks. Here's a good description of the issue:

Actually, it doesn't take a significant amount of time for me. You mention having to walk away in the midst of a post, but apparently our work network is revoking the session much more rapidly than that.

I have to finish my post and submit in a couple of seconds or less, or it won't let me at all. So I have to try about 10-20 times very quickly, go back, start the post, quickly paste in the text and hit submit, and eventually it will go through.
