But..... but..... she... she... threatened to cut his PORN off.
I can just hear the 911 call right now..
Operator: "911, what's your emergency?"
Daughter: "Daddy's pointin' a gun at momma... snif"
Operator: "Where is your father right now?"
Daughter: "Sitting in front of the computer... snif"
Operator: "Where is your mother right now?"
Daughter: "Over by the cable modem... snif"
*muffled sound of daughter turning her head*
Daughter: *in a loud voice* "DADDY! Just stop lookin at the POOOORRRN!"
Still trying to figure out the "Concealed weapon" charge. They prob came to his house, he had one in his pocket, when they dragged him outside, they found it on him. I HOPE he at least beats THAT charge. There is no way you can be charged that in your own home.

Did you read the article? It explained exactly how the weapon was found. Gun control laws vary from state to state, and it's quite possible that he very well can be charged for concealing a weapon inside his own home.

Oh, didn't catch the last few lines. Was too busy laughing. But, that wasn't his home, he came out of his parents home. Whole different story.
However... On one thing I am sure. In Michigan, as well as any other state, your legally owned firearm, can be carried concealed or otherwise on your person in your place of residency. Now, most cities have rules that you have to inform law enforcement upon entering your home, but otherwise... pack some heat.
I had to throw in the "Legally owned" part, before someone tossed "NY City, LA and DC" at me.
Apart from DC (which the US Congress has constitutional authority over), you can own a firearm in any city, in any state; the Constitution DOES give you that right, that's one thing I'm pretty durn sure of =) It's a little thing we like to call the 2nd Amendment. Now, to be able to pass the local statues for the city/state, that is another story. What NY and LA do is create a process that takes so long that most people don't bother with it. That's how those cities try to disarm their citizens.
Now, any podunk town you try to bring up that you say does not allow ownership of firearms, only does it because the people in it agree with it and nobody has taken it to court. Otherwise, it would be thrown out in a heartbeat.
Can ya'll tell I gots guns?

I have a little experience in this...so they are probably charging him cause he took gun from point A(his home) to point B(mothers house). However, they have to prove that HE was in possession of the gun in transport. Him having the gun in the yard is also LEGAL. For example: Even if I didn't have a permit to carry and I wanted to mow the lawn, I could carry my Sig on my person and there isnt anything that could happen as long as I stay on my property(Michingan Law).
Lets say though that while mowing the lawn, the gun discharges(possibly seeing neighbor sun bathing) he could be charged with discharge of a weapon in city limits(Misd).

When I read it (without actually seeing the article yet) I thoguht pw meant a different 'weapon' he was holding in his pocket while looking at porn

Well, unless I'm mistaken, but it wasn't his yard or house he was captured in, so he was breaking the law.

Alternative version: the pr@tt held a gun to his wife's head. Then when he realised the police might think it looked like he was threatening to kill her, he went round to his mummy's house to hide it.
Gun law aside (& I'm in UK, so can plead utter ignorance to those statutes quite happily), some guys are just plain d!ckheads.

How can you call him a Di-khead, when you don't even know what sorta porn he was looking at? HAHAHAHA

The type of porn is utterly irrelevant. He's a man...
