need help BAD!!

i dunno what i did but i keep getting TONS of pop up adds...im getting like 1-2 every min.
any ideas what to do to stop this it just started today. i didnt instal anything new or nothing.

or anyone know were to get a decent pop up blocker or something? any info will be a great help cause i cant play like this.

contact E nd in game Lorno, he told me how to do it WITHOUT getting another software to do it for me. Haven't had any in about 4 months now. I wish I would have kept instructions

I have this prob, to but not as bad and would invite any info on how to stop it. It always happen's at the worst time.

I would recomend running adaware which you can get form: http://www.lavasoft.de/software/adaware/

as for a pop up blocker I use POW form:

Thorgrim, all I can remember is I did it thru properties on task bar or something so easy. Too bad I cannot remember, I will also contact him in game to find out AGAIN (am such a blonde!) and post it here when I get the info.

I have found that Spybot can kill the things that AdAware misses

Are the ads always a standardized, grey "Messenger" box? If they are, then you can turn off "Messenger" service. It's not part of MSN Messenger, it's a windows thing. I rem how I did it, if it's what you need I'll recheck the process and post directions on how I did it. If each one has different format and graphics from the advertiser, then I'd think you need a pop-up blocker. Sorry I don't have the link where I got mine. (BTW I have Win XP, if you have different then my directions may not be a help.)
