I'm usually not in on all the Conspiracy Theory garbage, but...

We have all seen quite bizzar things that Turbine has been doing that seem to be pushing people away from AC1.

Normally, some of these things can be explained away as being "changes" and "Wait for next patch"... however.......

Anyone noticed how dreadfully EMPTY all the servers are since Shadowclaim opened? I'm guilty of going also, but wasn't this supposed to be a weekend "test" for new hardware for Solclaim?

It's getting so you HAVE to go to Shadowclaim to get any interraction with people.

I have this fear, that people are going to be so accustom to having these billions of xp and all lev 126, that it will be a big letdown to have to come BACK to Solclaim, and drive even more people away.

I mean... really... why would they be putting out new hardware for Solclaim anyway? Isn't it pretty much a FACT that the life of AC1 is coming to an end? It seems rather fishy if you ask me.

Shadowclaim was fun for a while, now it's just people begging for xp for no apparent reason. Nobody is TESTING anything, unless their sole reason was to test the lag in the sub or marketplace...

So, I come back to Solclaim, and the sub is literally empty, void...

I think Shadowclaim is the Oswald of AC1...

I dont think you have to worry anymore, To see what Alliance i was in over there, i tried to get on 5 times in the radius of 2 hours, and Couldnt get on, saying the server was down

, So I think it might be over, to find out, try going back in PW

Hmm.. K.. let me play the naive optimist!

I think they are looking for what they can do to improve AC!

AC2 is a flop! Not enough people left AC1... When I played Unreal and Unreal Tournament came out, the servers emptied hellishly fast.. and I mean 'empty!!'.. so I went to UT too.. but didn't like it as much. I ended up getting interested in AC and didn't look back.

That was 3yrs ago.

If AC2 was such a success, then how come there are still 1000's on our servers?

I think Shadowclaim really is a test world, and they're going to make some great new patches for AC, because AC2 is a flop.

Did you believe that?

*Sigh*.. well one can only hope right?

I would tend to agree. AC2 is a big loser and many people stayed on AC1. I think a HUGE patch (or upgrade) is in the works to improve graphics and performance etc. This will bring even more people to AC1.

They need to come out with ac 1.5 the grapics engines of ac2 runngin the entier game of ac1... I dunno...I think they might be able to make money off of it

Now since this is coming from the Pips this is good stuff, I "DO" think that they are going to revamp this shizzle and make the graphics better and everything. They have realized by now that AC2 is a flop and that AC1 will be and always be their cash-crop. I look at AC1 starting to get love again. And new graphics are going to be one of the things.

From what I understand, in the past this was brought up and apprently would require a complete revamping of the game. However, in light of the performance of AC2, they may be revisiting this.

I think that is why they made the test server Panz. If they do decide to do this I look at the servers being down a max of a week, or perchance they will release a new expansion. EQ did this to improve their graphics with the release of Shadows of Luclin.

um can u still get on shadowclaim? if so how? i dont see a link for shadowclaim on the launch page
