IT Help, please!!

Post by Druhsk » Fri May 02, 2003 8:18 pm

If anyone knows anything about Bluetooth tech, please help me. I am having a hell of a time trying to get my M$ Bluetooth Keyboard and Mouse to work.

I changed out the batteries becuase one was getting low and now neither device is working of even being detected.

I confimed all the connections are good, batteries are good and in the right way round, uninstalled and reinstalled all the software, done hardboots, soft boots, left it alone for hours turned off, and checked for updated software.

Does anyone know what the else the problem may be? I'm getting frustrated because I dropped over a $100 on this damn thing and it won't work!

Thanks.

look on the bottom of the mouse and keyboard. There should be a button to reset detection. its a small pinhole button if my memory serves correct.

At least thats the way mine is.

Thanks Flanker, I checked that & its there, but it sure doesn't work.

What a pain in the ass . . .and a huge waste of money too. Any other ideas? Anyone?
