I think Buffy is up and working properly. If you have a few minutes, go visit Buffy and get her to through some buffs on you, just to try to give her a good work out and see if she blows up, or can take the pressure. Thanks all. I will try to keep her running pretty much 24/7.

There were many happy people at the monarchy last night from what I could tell.

So she seems to be working good

I breathed a sigh of relief!

She broke briefly around 1am last night and Rabid and I buffed. I think she is back up again though.

I'll be glad to look into that. While we're on the subject of modding Buffy, is there anything other spell configuration she should have? Any missing spells? I'm not promising anything because I'm still an xml noob, but I'll give it a shot if there's something the monarchy needs.

I suspect Buffy is probably is good shape because it looks like a bang-up job was done with Buffy's code. Whew, I never saw so many lines of xml code before! I can't imagine sitting down and writing all of this the first time.

But then, I'm using only a limited set of instructions for Buffy.

This is very important. But the only hting I can think of is adding the wepon buffs to the full buffs so that way we dont have to type in so many commands. But if you dont know how to do that I'l talk to penny-wise he is a buffbot in marketplace thats the way his script is ran. I belive hw would help. well thats all I can think of.

This would greatly help reduce the number of line cutting mages who don't realize that melee people need one or two more buffs depending on if they carry a shield or not.

You have NO idea how aggrivating it is to be getting lev 6 buffs and have them greatly reduced by several minutes when someone comes up, cuts, and won't log so the previous persons buffs will finish. Buffy is a great bot, although not a fast one, so having to stand there while someone gets full buffs because they jumped over your weapon buff can be a long wait.

And, when you point this out to the guilty party, it's like they all of a sudden are "No hablas engles" or are already afk while the buffs are going.

LOL good point gripweed thats not what I ment but it's us archers that also have to pay. it sucks I have had almost 15 minutes wasted in the past.

Ok, I'll look into the too. I don't think it will be a big thing, but we'll see.

Just in my own defense of the massive amount of crap code in there...
I basically did a hack-job of cut and paste from several other peoples configs off the insane bot boards to get her started. Then I spliced it to make it all work, added tonz of new commands, experimented with baneing items, and NEVER DELETED ANY CODE! I never know when ill need to come back to it. I always just comment it out instead of deleting it.
So, you can safely delete anything thats commented out first of all.
Sorry shes such a mess. I just didnt have time to go back and clean her up for like the past year.
(kinda working on the premise If its not broke, dont fix it... )

But Im absolutly ECSTATIC to hear shes back up again. I will be checking the boards less and less often, so again, I bid you all fair winds and following seas, Its been a lovely cruise.
