So if you were an AOL customer....

Post by Phade » Sun Apr 13, 2003 3:28 pm

Would you call another ISP for help with your AOL? or would you call AOL?

oddly enough I've had 3 people that thought that I could help them.. and its only 3 hours into my shift .

turning out to be a funny day :)

FYI:

Phade, since you can "use aol over another ISP", whenever somebody calls AOL with a problem, and they are not logged on via AOL's dialup pools (and therefore paying premium prices) AOL doesn't try to troubleshoot, they instantly tell the people to call the ISP in question, whether the problem is AOL-related or not.

/e has worked for ISPs most of his life.

If I were an AOL customer... I'd be calling the suicide hotline, not tech support. I'd prob get my problems resolved faster.
